Well... I don't have any problems viewing peer list while downloading or uploading, but I do have the tracker bug. It only uses the first tracker listed but I don't really care as speed still fly flex.gif tongue.gif
I'm using the paid version of cFosSpeed, the trial version is available for download which allows 30 days of usage I think. Fully configurable protocol priorities, can be based on programs as well... No slowdown while surfing even though I'm downloading or uploading via BT/FTP. But it does have some slight issues with the free SecureIX VPN, enable traffic shaping with SecureIX and you'll kill all connections tongue.gif

Never tried KTorrent. Users in this thread already talked about it. Just use the search feature.
Works fine for me. Crashed about 2 times so far when I close it though.

the latest version has solved already see here
i dont want to install the latest version yet cause i afraid i cant resume my unfinished download. so i'll hold on to the previous version.

Hmm, I'm not getting the same speeds (>150 kb/s) on the windows version compared to the linux version. Anyone have any luck?

I will have to try the mac os x version next.

For those of you using alpha6 and alpha7 win32 builds, I found what could be a bug with Deluge's TCP active port (Preferences>Network). After 30 minutes or more, I found that my speeds dropped pretty significantly, and discovered that the TCP Active Port changed from the one i specified to some random port. Wondering if anyone else is having the same experience.

Tried Deluge on Windows. Sad to say, it performs just like Bitcomet or even slower. Heck, my PC even BSOD. tongue.gif
I'm back to Ubuntu for the time being.

yeah,my deluge crashes when my torrent begin to seed too but this morning it dint crash biggrin.gif not sure why.

i was using the same port as utorrent, after i read this " Crash on start. Make sure that there are not other torrent program taking the port. Close the other torrent programs, change the port in preferences to another port " from deluge site, i changed my utorrent port and deluge dint crash when the torrent begin to seed. could be a coincidence =\

erm..i tried deluge on windows... thumbs up to the guy who ported it!

works great but i just have one complaint...using utorrent...on vpn i can get arnd 40-45max speedwith seeds in the 20s and peers in the 70s....but in deluge it just lazily connects to only less than 10 peers and arnd 20 peers, so i get only arnd 25-30max speed(same torrent, after 5 minutes???)...i played with teh settings and matched it to my uttorrent's...still same thing...but i don get throttled from international peers anymore though...

where the half open tcp setting? there isnt one in deluge?

edit>> oops..my bad...wrong settings...i can get same speed...jsut dat deluge is more lazy at connecting..slow and steady gua...hahahah

one more small prob..not dat i mind but will be good for the developer to know...open containing folder doesnt work and also u cant open files directly..small matter can just go folder open..hehhee..but good to implement

I installed alpha8 without unistalling alpha7.
Now my Deluge just hangs cry.gif

Uninstalled Deluge, deleted the folders, shortcuts, etc
Installed alpha7 back, still the same, even my modem network light went out!!!! rclxub.gif

Struggled like hell. Restarting doesn't help. Off and on the modem doesn't help.
Even went to regedit and deleted 'deluge' keys.
Reinstalled and it still hangs!
Uninstalled again.

Going to run Registry Mechanic tonight and try.
* fingers crossed *

opening containing folder does work..change in preferences from auto-detect to ms explorer...

one more thing...do u ppl see that windows deluge has problem retrieving peer lists?
it seems it retrieves peer list from tracker that has very little peers compared to utorrent's..i switched on vpn to try just in case its tmnut blocking tracker response but its still the same...weird...anyone has this issue?

Please don't complain on alpha/beta software. Deluge is still on alpha phase.
