If u can't boot into the GUI and u'r Xconf is messed up try :
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
at the recovery console and try to reset u'r settings. I've tried that a million times last Saturday to get Ubuntu to run at 1920 * 1200 res. These things are supposed to be easy but apparently not. Oh well, at least its working now. If only Ubuntu runs Photoshop CS..then i won't need to boot back into Windows.

ubuntu is not for faint-hearted..

after done updating every ubuntu component, i cant boot on both ubuntu kernel 2.6.20.15 and 2.6.20.16.. graphic driver not found. open the recovery menu, i'm blur... rclxub.gif

i think maybe some update got corrupted.. sad.gif

Tried Deluge on Windows. Sad to say, it performs just like Bitcomet or even slower. Heck, my PC even BSOD. tongue.gif
I'm back to Ubuntu for the time being.
