Deluge homepage... Or to be exact, a link in there
www.deluge-torrent.org Works like a charm and doesn't affect my surfing speed like what some users are experiencing, but I'm using a traffic shaping software so I guess that's probably why |

QUOTE(evilguy @ Sep 17 2007, 08:09 PM) yeah, i agree. but i think it is not so good on private tracker. would anyone confirm this? deluge for windows has a lot of bugs (at least for me) I cant view peer list. when i click the peers tab when i'm in the middle of download/upload the deluge will exit and some error message popup. "illegal operation bla bla bla" if the torrent have multiple tracker, it only take the 1st one only. Well... I don't have any problems viewing peer list while downloading or uploading, but I do have the tracker bug. It only uses the first tracker listed but I don't really care as speed still fly QUOTE(prancingHORSE @ Sep 17 2007, 09:21 PM) Traffic shaping software? I'm using the paid version of cFosSpeed, the trial version is available for download which allows 30 days of usage I think. Fully configurable protocol priorities, can be based on programs as well... No slowdown while surfing even though I'm downloading or uploading via BT/FTP. But it does have some slight issues with the free SecureIX VPN, enable traffic shaping with SecureIX and you'll kill all connections Mind explaining how does it work, and precisely which software you use? I've been experiencing slightly slower surfing speeds than normal, i'm wondering if it has anything to do with my settings or is TMNet just slow these days. |

My Deluge just crashed even on its first run in Linux, was trying to minimize the window but it hanged
Anyway, the Linux version definitely downloads faster than its Windows counterpart, probably due to the number of connected peers. In Linux, Deluge managed to acquire more than 200 peers, but in Windows... About 20 only |

OMG! My Duluge crashes even more often then it did in Windows
I can't resume a paused torrent, no matter what, after I pause a task I'll need to remove the torrent and then add it back for the download to continue. What's worse is that, Deluge crashes on every exit! I'm currently on Kubuntu, a variant of Ubuntu. I can't install the latest Deluge as well, install can be initiated with the .deb package, but after the installation is complete... Deluge 0.5.6.2 is no where to be found and I'm still stuck with the old version This post has been edited by Dreamworks: Nov 25 2007, 09:01 PM |

QUOTE(Xybirium @ Nov 26 2007, 10:54 PM) Deluge in Debian Linux crashed so many times that I switched to KTorrent. It is much more stable for me and maxes my connection if the seeds are good. I'm sticking with it until the ISP manages to throttle it. But I can't use KTorrent, because the speed is basically wayyy tooo slowwwwww... |

QUOTE(abubin @ Nov 28 2007, 12:35 PM) deluge should be very stable in kubuntu. I am using 0.5.6.2 and it's quite stable. The trick is to not enable any plugins. Just leave the default plugins enabled. I believe 2 standard plugins are enabled. The rest don't use especially webui. If you do that, your deluge would not crash. I think my version is 0.5.4.something, can't install the latest version. Everytime I tried, it's a "ghost" install My deluge has been running for more than a week now and it's stable. I am using xubuntu. But it should be same with kubuntu. QUOTE(aMer @ Nov 28 2007, 01:10 PM) For me, the memory usage can go up to at least 32MB, usually more than that... But I don't really care |
