yesterday my deluge can work on vista using the compatibility mode, then suddenly after i switch on it back, vista says deluge cannot run anymore even i restart my vista..  

how come the torrents keep pausing/downloading/pausing/downloading?
EDIT: not sure why this is happening. enabled shared folders in VMmanager. able to create and download a torrent, saving it outside of the virtual environment. but the 2nd torrent wasnt able to allocate the file, and the torrent keeps pausing/downloading/pausing. when i changed the save location to ubuntu desktop, this fixed the problem.

ah. well u can get rid of the problem if u let it allocate as it downloads.

will try windows version later. the previous versions cant max out my line

yeah, i agree. but i think it is not so good on private tracker. would anyone confirm this? deluge for windows has a lot of bugs (at least for me) I cant view peer list. when i click the peers tab when i'm in the middle of download/upload the deluge will exit and some error message popup. "illegal operation bla bla bla" if the torrent have multiple tracker, it only take the 1st one only.

can somebody explain what i can do to prevent this error occur again

if that happens, we'll recompile deluge with new fake client ID..soon dont be surprise to see peers with client id 'screw tmnut' in your peers list

I am facing a problem like this:
The Deluge shows downloading status and connect the peers.....
See the speed gaining 1kb->2kb and going up suddenly
everything stop see the status changed to paused
and all peers disconnect and need to start again!

Wat is the problem?

But earlier i manage to get up to 80-90kb......

I am using window version. Wat do u mean pre-allocate? Does it mean that i have to open Bittorrent client (like Bit Comet) first and select a download folder which is same as the path in the Deluge? Then wat should i do? Leave 2 of them running together or just pause the client one and run the deluge?

Anyone else suffering slow speeds for the past week or so? Or is it only me 

Anyway been using the Linux version on Ubuntu, never bothered to try the windows version.

Anyway I found 0.5.6 to be unstable on Ubuntu, seemed to crash often. Reverted back to 0.5.5 and it's really stable.
