The only place my wise paywave works is Village Grocer in Citta mall.
All other places contactless got error.

As shared by others here, most people have problems. And nobody has it working ALL the time in Malaysia.

almost instant, when i transfer at pc it will show the graphic, end end there will write something line your money have been transfer in 57 seconds or something.

Hmm..failed at a shop selling waffles at Changi Airport. Msg says "Pls use Contact". So have to use pin.

What machine is that?

I think it looks like same machine which was working at other places. So, maybe it's some setting or depending on the bank?

If it is the same most likely it is either the settings that is not allowed for the bank or the country network system is that is not allowed foreign issues cards

Everywhere. 99Speedmart, petrol station, parking, restaurants. Everywhere.
Also worked everywhere in Taiwan and SG for me.

Maybe you didn't try enough. But I will check out 99Speedmart when I pass by. SG mostly works except one time for me.

I linked the virtual card to ApplePay with heavy usage. But contactless with physical card always work for me too.

Perhaps Wise did something on their end to make the contactless payment works in Malaysia.
When I got the card one year ago, contactless payment did not work at 99speedmart and few other places.

Yesterday I tried at one of the kiosk at KFC and it works.

Don’t try at KFC of course it works 🤦‍♀️

You should try those smaller local merchants and see whether it works

so meaning wise contactless is not 100% usable but pin and pay will not be an issue?

last year at thai, can contactless but need pin

With pin, no problem. Just contactless has issue. So it's save to use as long you remember your pin.
