either wise or bigpay
tng visa charge annual fee and foreign exchange rate not that attractive.
Wise supports more countries and currencies than BigPay but take note wise paywave function like got problem a bit

SCB Jumpstart debit card is the best, FX rate much better than even bigpay. https://www.sc.com/my/saadiq/deposits/jumpstart/

Don't use wise, stupid card, cannot use wave all the time. bangwall.gif

Wise and BigPay gives you better value while TNG Visa be prepared to pay 2% spread 🤦‍♀️

SCB is not as cheap as what you think as you’re paying SCB FX rate not market live rates hence 2% incurred 🤦‍♀️

It is only good for overseas ATM Cash withdrawal via MasterCard/Cirrus with no bank charges

He mean the rate used itself, not the fee. Like just example if u spend it today, you pay around 1% more.

Don’t look at MasterCard rate as it is already priced in at least 1% from it

Compared with live exchange rate instead 🤦‍♀️

Anyway MasterCard or Visa will never use live rates but the rates the day before as a reference otherwise they would have make any money at all

Try outside in the city and see whether it works

Airports failure rate as they have set accept contactless from all valid cards 🤦‍♀️

Failed because our banks doesn’t accept foreign issued cards 🤦‍♀️

I suspect mydebit has to do with it as local banks transact via mydebit instead using visa/Mc contactless

Contactless overseas not many issues 👏

The only thing in Malaysia has issues because I suspect it is Mydebit network that Wise is not in it hence failure contactless 🤦‍♀️
