QUOTE(kbandito @ Jan 25 2023, 09:59 AM) Everywhere. 99Speedmart, petrol station, parking, restaurants. Everywhere. Also worked everywhere in Taiwan and SG for me. Perhaps Wise did something on their end to make the contactless payment works in Malaysia. When I got the card one year ago, contactless payment did not work at 99speedmart and few other places. Yesterday I tried at one of the kiosk at KFC and it works.

QUOTE(derravile @ Oct 6 2023, 02:12 PM) hi guys, just got my physical wise card for my upcoming trip to Japan i havent use the card before, should i do the contactless payment once here in msia? i read somewhere in reddit tht we need to activate 1st time with the pin number i am planning to use this card in japan, will there be any issues? also, i was told that we can w/d cash from ATMs in japan (mainly 7E), will there be any charges if i have already converted my RM to Yen in advance? Yes you should. New card, just try everything before you leave. ATM withdrawal, pay by pin and pay by wave, online payment etc. You do not want to stuck overseas with a card that you cannot use.

QUOTE(brianw87 @ Nov 14 2023, 05:05 PM) Guys, what's the use of Wise business account? I was told by Wise that we cannot receive payment to business account in Malaysia? What's the use of a business account then? Receive and send money in foreign currency. Keep money in foreign currency to hedge against exchange rate.
