QUOTE(gengstapo @ Dec 27 2007, 03:16 PM) its G0 with 4Ghz stepping been tested by kvmcom, but i bought new unopened cpu If it's unopened, how come it's been tested? Isn't that weird. Same batches doesn't mean it can overclock at the same level. |

Let's put aside the price 1st.
Will the DS3 outperform MARS? Not planning to upgrade DDR3 anytime soon. So the MARS and Q6600 will work just fine right? Don't want later not OClockable or any compatibility issue because of the board. |

Hi guys, i was wondering how u guys can get temperature below 60c when oc Q6600 to 3.6g. In fact i have try changing from my ttbg to tru120x, no matter how, i will get above 60c, example when i oc to 3.3g, voltage set to 1.3625 my core temp will show me around 61-65 full load, n when i set to 3.04g set voltage to 1.232v core temp will show 61c full load. First question, is my mobo sensor going crazy, or something wrong from my settting. For info my room temp around 28-30 without ac, secondly i have resit the heatsink several time still the same. my set at my sign. Forgot, one more thing, even with open casing full load at 3.04g my core temp will show around 53-55c. TQ

irlz,
how come you've got 2 CPU temp recorded in speedfan? Kinda confused coz 1 is reading 43c and another over 100c. hot hot hot... what hsf are you using? you better check the thermal paste and reseat your hsf. |

thats the funny thing i dont really know how to use the program anyway. And not sure why there is two cpu readings
add: after installing asus probe2, the temp on that thing doesnot show any irregularities showing a cpu temp of only 34celcius This post has been edited by ir1z: Dec 30 2007, 12:53 PM |

QUOTE(ir1z @ Dec 30 2007, 12:57 PM) Ive touch it and it feels warm not hot at all and btw im using the thermaltake v1... wow quite a fast pc u got there Ive done another one and here is what is shown: ![]() add: done some benchmark got this: ![]() noticed that asus probe gives you the wrong readings esp on voltages. i used to have this problem and it's caused by the version used in speedfan and cpu-id. use speedfan v.432 and cpu-id v1.405 or lower and the voltages reading in asus probe will correct itself. |
