Let's put aside the price 1st.
Will the DS3 outperform MARS?
Not planning to upgrade DDR3 anytime soon.
So the MARS and Q6600 will work just fine right? Don't want later not OClockable or any compatibility issue because of the board.

QUOTE(skymyxe @ Dec 29 2007, 06:58 AM) Either get MARS or DFI LanParty P35 T2-RS. Both are excellent boards. Getting DFI, prefer the board layout and colour scheme.

With stock cooler, Stressing Q6600 with stock cooler what temperature should I be seeing?
Still haven't get my mobo so just testing with another PC.
I stress with OCCT/Prime95 both reaching 70c+, just test less than 5 minutes. Normal temp is core1/2 50c and core3/4 45c.

QUOTE(kmarc @ Jan 31 2008, 07:09 AM) Errr.... not that advisable to OC too much with stock coolers...... I've never tried with stock coolers so I don't know... Not OCing yet, just trying the q6600 in a test rig since haven't got my mobo.
