Just got my Q6600 up and running, cooled by an Ultra 120 Extreme and a low cfm Delta fan. At 2.6Ghz full load, Core temp shows 84c/83c/78c/79c for the 4 cores while Easy Tune shows 61c hmm.gif

I'm at 2.8Gghz right now, highest coretemp is 90c while eazy tune shows 70c. I've reinstalled the heatsink already. The weird thing is that when I touched the lower part of the heatsink while under full load, it's not even warm! hmm.gif
Still too lazy to install my Prommy tongue.gif
*
might a bug i think.. zZZzz laugh.gif
if not even warm, then its ok de

I'm using P35. When one of the cores fail in Prime95, the icon will turn red.
*
ahh ic, so basically, p35 more suit when paired with quaddies rather than p965(what im using)

p965 can support nicely when running on default & mild setup, but when it comes to higher clocks, it becomes unstable no matter what setting applied

hurmm hmm.gif am i going to get p35 boards?? sweat.gif sweat.gif

about the prime95, so it doesnt have a "beep" sound ait?? in that case, have to turn on my display at least 8hrs to monitor the overclocking progress cry.gif

@remysix

hehee.. nice setup & result there, wish u able to get the 3.6Ghz atleast, higher would be greater

ive seen that p35 chipset was mean to be quad-cores mate, very cun

i believe it is possible to get higher OC result at default stock voltage

yups.. in terms of quad core overclocking, p35 is if not better but on par with 680i chipset.. which is far better than 965 and of coz 975..

and what makes p35  better than its 680i is the simplicity.. no need painful tweaking like the nforce one..

so gengstapo, bile lagi :-"
*
nah, not anywhere near future.. will wait for the right time brows.gif
neway, my quaddy running at 3.1Ghz with my p965 board currently, still in process of tweaking, who knows might get 3.4G/ 3.6G.. its g0od enuff i think

the cpuz reports voltage 1.088, while asus 1.3

which is correct?
the cpu-z totally wrong.. the 1.088v if refer to the BIOS were voltage for SB voltage
i put vcore around 1.35v only, sometimes vdroop to 1.32/ 1.3 in windows
