QUOTE(gengstapo @ Sep 7 2007, 05:24 PM) its ur new rig ait? Running right now.Y doncha do some homework upon em' & later present to us the result?? The Abit IP35-E manage to OC my Q6600 G0 to 3.2GHz [400X8] @ 1.3Volts [Yeah, this is my favourite speed, and will always use this for 24/7 Wanted to push more, but i love my hardwares, plus, this IP35-E is just a temporary motherboard while waiting for X38. Anyway, just want to ask your guys whose been using Q6600 G0. Can the Q6600 G0 run at 400X8 @ Stock Vcore? This post has been edited by sHawTY: Sep 7 2007, 08:58 PM |

Now the Q6600 G0 running at 400X8 [3.2Ghz] @ 1.31Volts.
If i set anything lower than that, it can't even pass boot screen. Anyway, does anyone here knows what the stock vcore for this Q6600 G0? |

QUOTE(Dante18 @ Dec 21 2007, 05:45 PM) anyone else can give me some tip to get 3.2ghz on my q6600. my full spec is: Duh!It's super easy. Set the bus speed to 400MHz, Multiplier to 8, vcore, set the vcore to 1.31Volts, FSB:Dram ratio put to 1:1, there, you're done. This post has been edited by sHawTY: Dec 21 2007, 06:29 PM |

QUOTE(sukhoi37 @ Dec 26 2007, 08:30 PM) shawty, what you did to change multiplier to 8? Huh?my ip35-e refuse to change multiplier with higher fsb.... Why not? I just change the multiplier in the first page where you change the FSB, the ram to cpu ratio and voltage changing page lor. It's there under the place where you change the FSB. Have u tried updating the bios? This post has been edited by sHawTY: Dec 26 2007, 08:45 PM |

QUOTE(sukhoi37 @ Dec 26 2007, 08:55 PM) you try change to higher fsb with somemore vcore. Sorry man, i don't want to risk burning either the processor or motherboard since the board is based on 4 phase PWM & the PCB is only based on 4 layers which is a bit too weak for quad core processors.I have something to ask though, you seriously can't change the multiplier even at any FSB? I can change the multiplier at any FSB on any bios. Even on the first bios release i can change the multiplier. Now i'm on v14 bios, and i'm on 400MHz X 8 too. QUOTE(sukhoi37 @ Dec 26 2007, 09:19 PM) weak? Yes, high achievement, but mostly using Core2Duo, not Core2Quad.there are many users achieve high oc result with this board. weird, maybe i'll try to remove the battery while clear cmos later. how much vcore you need to achieve 3.6ghz? I use 1.32Volts when i'm on 400x9. Didn't test the stability though since i want the processor to only run at highest speed at stock vcore. |

QUOTE(gengstapo @ Dec 27 2007, 03:16 PM) its G0 with 4Ghz stepping been tested by kvmcom, but i bought new unopened cpu If it's unopened, how come it's been tested? Isn't that weird. Same batches doesn't mean it can overclock at the same level. |
