Different q6600's all G0 stepping all can reach different FSB's at the same VCore setting?

well i do have screenies of my oc with CPUZ... not as high as my bios settings though, and i once entered windows at 4140mhz, yet 4get to take pic

judging from ur pic, i can say u dont even have to restart to be able to show that 5.4ghz... try using my mobo and u will at least know how difficult it is to be able to reach windows boot up screen... i bet u couldnt even post at 5.4ghz on a q6600

true indeed but it wasnt a q66 though but it was a e84.

never had the chance to oc quad yet.

Q6600 wan hit 4ghz above is very hard...unless u have go oc mobo n good cooling...after hit 4ghz try prime95 1st la...c whether got 1 core fail o not.... if stable for more than 1-2 hour, story not finish yet....continue the Pi calculation then occt...stil a lot of task to do... frm image as u know....try prime95...full load about 1-3 hour...

after hit 4ghz, first thing i'd do is bench... then oni go for stability... ran prime95, BSOD in 25 secs biggrin.gif...

btw, u trying to bench a q6600 at 4ghz? wat was ur highest stability clock? 4ghz?

btw if BSOD then meaning u r fail in oc liao....

fail in oc, due to temp @@... well at least i managed to bench at such speeds... in terms of stability, 3.8 was my highest, and 3.8ghz daily is @@.... so im jz using 3.6 instead biggrin.gif

5.4GHz in bios? What CPU? q6600 kah? I doubt it can boot
