oh ya... regarding vtt... i totally forgot about it hahaha... i set it to auto all the way, figuring the mobo can do its job, since i am stable at 1800mhz on auto tongue.gif...
*
when u leave it to auto, it will auto increase when u increase the fsb, this is not very healthy for 45nm i guess cause it will auto set it more than 1.4v vtt sad.gif

wonder how can u say that ur ram to be blamed...have u tested ur ram with that speed?
issit possible u have hit ur mobo fsb wall?
i'd go with hengmy suggestion...down the clock and up the multiplier and see how it turns out...
*
my mobo fsb wall i can say is 500mhz... cant boot up at 510mhz @@... downclocked the fsb and reached 445x9.... possible proc fsb wall? hahaha

can boot doesnt mean it is stable at that speed bro...have u tested ur mobo at that speed...i meant 500x7 stress test?
when u ran it at 445x9, was it stable?
could be hitting the wall edi, maybe somehow not enuff juice...not only the proc, other juice as well...btw, what ur temp like with 1.62vcore...i'd assume u have a good cooling...for me 1.62v with that speed can only be done at least with good wc, at least... sweat.gif sweat.gif

500x7 my pc will hang after roughly 10 minits like that, which again, i blame my ram, because my ram's been oc'ed from 1333 to 1666....everytime stress test, exactly at that time it will hang... havent tried stress testing at 1333 though...

445x9 not stable too, because my vcore is just 1.616 hahaha... i guess i need to up to 1.63 and above for it to be stable... one thing about my mobo is, when i stress test, instead of vdrooping, they increase the voltage instead... quite good oso hahahaha... btw im not using any water cooling, im just using air cooling... idle temp at 1.616v is 49~51c, while when i managed to stress 2 cores, the temp reading was 79c @@

with that vcore, it is not good with air cooling, processor will degrade very very soon...
i dont see much q6600 can prime stable at 4ghz, 3d stable maybe possible..
if u wan to OC to high fsb for quadcore, gigabyte ep45-ud3p is the mobo to go smile.gif

You're using 1:1 ? 1333 mhz speed stable ? There's not much ram can do that clock stable under stress test hmm.gif

BSOD usually occur when there's problem with your hardware, rarely its about problematic windows.
