Unlink the freq ratio for CPU to RAM.

My KVR limit is only 857, so for me to go higher freqs with my Q6600, I disable the link

macam mana nak OC Q6600@4ghz?.. ???mhz X 9X
Cpu vcore nak letak berapa?
*
4Ghz on WC set ups also very hard to reach, and urs somemore is only on air. I`ll bet it`ll just max out at 3.6-3.7

QUOTE(hilmiangah @ Mar 24 2009, 01:18 AM)
dang.

back to the topic.
usually a 3ghz overclock doesnt need a raise in vcore rite.
*
Depends, mine needs to be raised to 1.3, cant leave it on auto,

I thought stock core for the q6600 is 1.325?
*
MInes around 1.2v at 2.4 when left to auto

QUOTE(latias93 @ Mar 25 2009, 10:33 PM)
Hmm, perhaps should overclock my Intel Q6600 too after take back from workshop. Overclockers need liquid cooling system installed right?
*
A high end air will also do...

Sometimes it is not optimal for teh proc to run at that speed. Why dont u try 3.2? Anyway, my optimal one is 3.11 Ghz, 1.35, P95 stable

Price is also a factor, since the 9700 is cheaper..

Still, my 9700 can take me to 3.6 with ease
