ok here it is.
10 loops of linx and it still stable with a 90C,but the temp getting 90C max, im afraid it gonna burn my processor, but i usually get 60-65C on load while playing games 24/7. Guys, should i lower my FSB ? or is it ok with this setting ?

How you hold the processor when lapping becos the proc chip is small, n any risk that may contact the other side of the chip, secondly it seem very hard to hold it. Did you use anything to hold it when u do lapping.

Bro Dickong, remember the small little black plastic that come together with the Proc? it should cover the underside of the contacts during lapping. Even force should be applied to the proc while lapping to avoid uneven surface !

you must apply it in a proper direction ! HORIZONTAL for QUAD CORE, and VERTICAL for DUO CORE !

Presently doing 3.4g after lap my true n prc @ 1.4v before 3.2 @1.325. Question is i need to pump in so much exta voltage to get 3.4g stable secondly i am getting the same temp as before for 3.4g compare my previous 3.2g, thats means to show there is improvement on the lappng but still not satified becos getting around 61-60-55-52 full load for more than one hour, whereas i see some forerummer getting below 55c n higher proc voltage, any ideal why.

So by lapping the proc, we can get around 3-5c temp diff under load eh hmm.gif

It could be the ambient temp and other factors too that makes the temperature different from 1 setup to another.

Improve of 5-6c after lapping but still my Q6600 @ 3.4g voltage @1.4 only but temp seem a bit high at 61-60-55-52c full load. Is it possible that applying too much of AS5 can be the cause of high temp.

hey OC4/3, fror TRUE MOD got 3:
1. TRUE washer mod
2. Backplate Card mod
3. Bolt through mod

but pls beware, excessive pressure and stress will break the internal PCB layers of your BOARD

Danger ! sweat.gif
