QUOTE(k!nex @ Oct 5 2008, 05:18 AM) ur chip is sure hot. for mine..is G0 stepping VID 1.275. i do 3.2Ghz 1.264V at idle, 1.21V at load. at ambient 24C like dat, my idle 32C, load 54C(prime95). btw, u lapped it to mirror finish got big difference in temperature drop?? u shud try IBT, 9 hrs of prime cannot show its full stability. u can pass 50 rounds of IBT den it's around 98%++ stable. take note of ur temps,u'll be shocked You are lucky bro, to get low temp when load. Mine same vid with yours but i have to set to 1.325v to get 3.2g stable n my temp reach 60c when load.By the way i am curious how did you set your voltage to 1.264v when the bios setting of your mobo mininum is 1.275v. i believe OCCT for 1 hours should be able to keep u stable for most games on the market already, no need to waste so much time lol...

errr...kinda OT but how much do u think a pc running stress test 24hrs, say using 750w of psu at 80% of efficiency...will it be really that much of $$$...just wondering loh

50 rounds for IBT is to much i think, i just used with 10 loops at high memory, already good enough, stable and no problem

QUOTE(tech_frix @ Oct 7 2008, 09:14 AM) some said 10 loops equals to one hour OCCT... and yet some said 8 minutes of IBT (basically around 8 rounds) equals to 40 hrs of Prime95

QUOTE(tech_frix @ Oct 7 2008, 09:14 AM) some said 10 loops equals to one hour OCCT... Not really, coz i used occt b4 and test passed for more than 12 hour but with ibt, it failed at 1st loop ... IBT stressing hard on ur processor, and it produced more heat, so my opinion no need to run longer with ibt... save time and save money Try used IBT with higher memory(eg. 2Gb), it will take more time and more accurate

1.45v, very high for 3.4ghz I think, donno how they tweak for a very low voltage, may be coz my processor not a good batch or my skill suck
