what cooling r using bro?seems the delta between idle and load is very good...only 10c...

well...my P35-DQ6 is Quadcore optimized...i'm not sure whether gigabyte means the board or actually the P35 is quadcore optimized...currently running OCCT at 3.4G@1.375v, drooped to 1.344vcore...load temp is around 53-55c...love it...
i'm looking at 3.6G on daily setup...hope can do that...just installed the xigmatek s1283 last nite...the performance, it's far better than my geminiII

Added on August 12, 2007, 9:24 ambro...angkat la the Quad G0...with ur WC setup...hitting a >4G is do-able...4 cores at 4G...last time cannot imagine it...now, it's a achievable...

Standard 2 of Primary School caclulation:
1 Core = 4Ghz
4 Core = 4 x 4 Ghz
= 16Ghz

actually, it has already hit 4G but wif geminiII...now i'm searching the daily running speed...
so far, i can say that the s1283 is better than the geminiII...but unfortunately, i don have the figure to show it...last time running it with geminiII, dok dapat the 'crashed' je...maybe i put too much tim or something else...

dun have the figure and screenie...but IIRC, it would be around 7-10c...but now my system temp is high...last time using geminiII...got 2x120mm pushing the air down and cooling the ram plus the surrounding...now i used 2x120mm, push and pull but towards the exhaust rear fan...so, the mobo area left un-cool...gotta do something about it...

if i have a car that i can just step on the pad and it goes at the same speed with a car that has a cockpit like the plane - need to switch here and there, i would say the former is a better choice/performer...anyway, that maybe coming from ME who don have the skill in tweaking the mobo

Added on August 19, 2007, 7:19 ami think the very first thing he shud get for the oc is a decent psu...good HSF will not do if ur voltage supplied to the system is not stable...
get a good psu and u wont regret it.

bro...i think prolly la...u need to re-mount ur TTBT...it shouldnt be that hi (85c) with 1.46v...prolly u got contact issue...

#1: both are correct (and in some way, can say incorrect-coz someone will say the correct voltage reading should be taken from DMM). anyway, cpu-z will report (based on ur mobo) voltage at idle and voltage at load. u set in bios=1.3v...cpuz(idle) = 1.2v (vdrop of 0.1v)...cpu(load)=1.1v (vdroop of 0.1v)...

u always start with lower voltage when OC...i dont think u want to start with 2.0v in ur oc journey

same as mine la, vid 1.25v ...but mine is a 'polished gem' ...a lapped quad...might have less value in the market

last time ran at 3.6, then 3.5 and now 3.4...since running 3.6 or 3.4 will not really give me a real life diff, i opted 3.4 wif lower vcore...

bro...what batch of G0 do u have there...for G0, 3.2Ghz is not that hard...and i think 1.4vcore is already too hi...but if u said the vcore drooped to 1.312v, u really have a serius vdroop there bro...1.400 - 1.312 = 0.088v...that's quite big...my DQ6 only drooped around 0.01 - 0.02v, so manageable la. and btw, core temp of 63, i think still ok since we are on air...and it's not the surface temp, which should be lower than 63c...

hehe...true also la...anyway, i noticed that when i raised my Vgmch, the vcore became more stable compared to not raising the Vgmch...well at least that's the observation i saw on my mobo.

mmm...FSB wall for Q6600...tot the FSB for the mobo
anyway, for mine last time i think i managed to get 482 like that la...didnt quite remember...

interesting...gonna try to re-apply my tim afterwards and see how...

TJ07 all the way la...sadly last time i couldnt get the tj07...so settled for tj09 onli...if i could turn back time, i might just wait
