The VSOL V2802RH is not able to pass VLAN tags to the LAN ports?
Home Networking Ditch ONU, use GPON SFP on Business Grade Router, 2.5G ONU for Unifi & Maxis, NO NEED VLAN

QUOTE(Anime4000 @ Mar 25 2025, 10:11 PM) Realtek V2 SoC with DDM It's nice to know you have access to the latest SDK.The Intel Lantiq SoC no more new, also have issue with FHTT which I still haven't figure it out, but for Realtek V2, still active and has year March 2025 firmware which need extended test Given vulnerability like this: https://isc.sans.edu/diary/28940 It's best to always update. However, it also means that using any device with MTK chip with unknown SDK version will makes you vulnerable. Since all TM ONR are using MTK chip, user simply won't know. Actually I wonder if D-Link is the one handling the firmware, I suspect the firmware RD is done by the local OEM and D-Link is only producing the hardware. Anime4000 liked this post

There is a directory under /etc/ that contains all the hardcoded keys and password for all D-Link customers. This includes the mesh key, TR069 as well.also D-Link base board, with secureboot keys ![]() I try with White D-Link ONR if can really pair with OpenWRT |

Now improving Unifi OMCI based on D-Link DPN-FX3060V B1 Hardware, to spawn a lot of Upload T-CONT just to combat bandwidth among other user
![]() ![]() Also, if TM OLT has updated to latest Rec. ITU-T G.988 (11/2022), this could make Symmetrical GPON when my own OMCI ![]() And tell OLT which this PON Stick is 2.5Gbps capable instead of faking GbE ![]() |

QUOTE(nrw @ May 1 2025, 10:09 PM) why are they actually using 248 instead of 249 interface? It's about History, the GPON standard I read is finalised in 2022.and why they bother to 'fake' plug in 47 instead of using 50? is that a provisioning thing? Thing is, NBase-T (IEEE 802.3bz) was rectified in 2013 Using existing 10G Base-T and slowed down to 1/2 (5Gbps) and 1/4 (2.5Gbps), The GPON exist in 2003 thus, many GPON ONU are stuck with old standard, thus, Type 47 is used for backwards compatibility but still can push over GbE That is why Unifi release 2Gbps a bit hiccup because of this, OLT see the Type 47 and use QoS based on 1GbE. So, proper 2Gbps for GPON should be 1+1 Thus, Type 47 is just backwards compatible. and Symmetrical GPON 2488Mbps (Type 249) is quite rare, unless OLT support it. I doubt if TM support it, if they do, better just using 10G OLT instead |
