hi, i just bought a E2160 today, can OC until FSB333, 3G with stock cooler and no Vmod. is this a good result ?
never tambah, becos temperature already hit 55C when running super PI 32M. |

Not bad

those with stock cooling and over 3Ghz, kindly take care.
I tried before. Stock cooler, 25c ambient temp still ok. once I off my air-con and leave the system in the room with warmer temps. sorry la, no hope for doing Folding@Home on both cores. Updating BIOS in Windows is not really a good idea cos it's slow, and if something interrupts the transfer, you'll get write errors. Try updating via DOS, it's much faster and safer as well.I faced an issue when I try to update my BIOS using @BIOS in windows. Below are the screenshot. anyone can help? ican only hit 280 fsb with my 2180 with stock vcore... haih.. so sad right now..
everything else is set to auto with the fsb:ram at 2:3, cannot set to 1:1 with my f-190hd... kvr 2 gb 667 mhz This post has been edited by huh?: Nov 29 2007, 09:35 AM |

flashed my bios just now and it enables fsb:ram to 1:1 and stilll the same problem occured... haih...
i tried setting the vcore to 1.36 ( detected by the cpuz ), fsb 290,multiplier 10 2900 ghz.. else to default it could not pass OCCT test |
