Transfer in and out. No problem.

No need increment. Decrease also never mind.

As long got incoming 3k
*
but need to maintain a sizeable amount right in the account throughout the month cause they calculate by monthly average balance for the interest

10. “Fresh Funds” means funds which do not originate from any accounts held with the SCBMB or SCSB

Noted! As long as transfer 3k from other bank.

Just reading the T&C,

3k deposit = 2%

1k spend = 1.5%

so total is 3.5% NOW, correct me if wrong.

Should be 0.5% as base rate

3K deposit = additional 2%

CC spend of 1k = additional 1.5% (capped at 100k)

0.5+2+1.5% = 4%

You forgotten the base interest of 0.5%
What you added is just the bonus interest upon fulfillment of the criteria.

As said earlier you still need to do biometric verification with your NRIC.
Go find those qualified bank staff at the booth in the malls.

Yes.
They're aggressively promoting it.
You can see posters and pamphlets at the booth.

There're two types of booths in the malls.
One is opened by SC bankers and the other is opened by SC credit card agents.

That's why the posters at the booth will tell you.
Booth with PSA posters are definitely managed by SC bankers.
SC credit agents (mostly 3rd party) are not allowed to product banking products.
