Astro Go Shop Chinese channel should come to MYTV Myfreeview platform. Better put because MYTV Myfreeview got a lot of Chinese people watching also.

I listen to Chinese radio on MYTV Myfreeview platform Ai FM and One FM. I listen to English radio like Traxx FM and Fly FM and everyday listen to Sabah VFM as they have English programming everyday between 1-3PM and I've also listen to their Chinese shows but can't remember went it came on air.

Got anymore new channels coming to MYTV?

What about this Sabah or Sarawak state TV?

RTM's Red FM and Sarawak VFM radio coming to MYTV Myfreeview platform or not? Better fast-fast RTM put Red FM and Sarawak VFM on MYTV because got some English programming.

I've also listen to Wai FM with English programming but come remember when, I can't remember wether it was in a Saturday or Sunday morning or afternoon.

To be honest, even if there is mass deployment on digital radio throughout Malaysia, be it DVB-T2 Lite, DAB+ or DRM+ radio or regardless of what technology it is, I don't see it is going anywhere sweat.gif
I don't really think that many people would buy digital radio equipment to receive digital radio transmissions, unless if Malaysia totally shut down FM radio like Norway, then forced to buy la, or else listen via Internet radio biggrin.gif

Plus, if broadcasters would to use digital radio, for sure they will become very "cheapskate" when it comes to determining bitrate...
You see MYTV's digital TV broadcasts, so kedekut to give more bitrate, end up they allocate 32kbps HE-AAC v2 per radio channel... dry.gif dry.gif
With an audio quality like this, I might as well rather continue listen to FM radio instead, or Internet radio, where the audio quality will be way better (unless you listen at the coverage fringe or dead spot areas).

More TV and radio channels should come to MYTV Myfreeview.

Preferably have all radio stations currently on FM simulcast on DVB T2 Lite and DAB/DAB+ and if possible DRM+.

On another note, what happened to the English movie this Tuesday night at 9:30PM on RTM TV2? They didn't show.

Also why MYTV Myfreeview broadcast for MUX1 and MUX2 very weak in Semenyih starting from yesterday? Can barely receive TV and Radio.

I counted there are over 200+ Malaysian Net Radio (Internet Radio) stations and it will also be good that they could also broadcast in DVB T2 Lite and simulcast in DAB/DAB+.

The problem with DVB-T2 Lite that there isn't much equipment available on the market to let people to just listen radio (a la DAB radios), that'll push up adoption costs.

Once DVB-T2 Lite, DAB+, DRM+ become commonplace and more broadcasters adopt the format and more manufacturers produce equipment for that, availability of transmission and receiving equipment will increase as more brands and models come into the market and because it is available in abundance cost of purchasing receiving equipment will go down drastically.

I personally think ntv7 should revert back to their oriental programming showcasing Chinese, Korean, Thai and Japanese shows as a lot of Chinese are demanding it.

This new fella who took over Media Prima from Astro's headquarters not good.

Those net radio not all of them are licenced. Mostly just run by anyone interested. You can even run your own.

Starting Nov 23, a new TV Pendidikan (Educational TV) programme will be aired on NTV7 to provide students with learning materials during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).

The Education Ministry in a statement today said Media Prima Berhad (MPB) had agreed to collaborate with the ministry to broadcast the DidikTV@NTV7 educational programme on NTV7.

I know some Net Radio stations are unlicensed, if they want to broadcast on DV-T2 Lite and DAB+ then they should be licensed for those frequencies.

TV Pendidikan should broadcast as a separate channel by itself on MYTV Myfreeview platform rather than piggyback on other channels. This way more information, knowledge, education, curriculum and syllabus can reach the intended target audience whom are students.

WoW Shop Chinese shows nowadays so boring, not like back in 2015 - 2018. Back between 2015 - 2018 WoW Shop Chinese shows were interesting. I noticed they started to become boring in mid 2020. I hope Wow Shop Chinese can produce better shows.

Bring in the regional non country specific Free to Air channels to Malaysian digital TV.
They're all already aired FREE and live on the internet with no region LOCK.

NHK World TV

Arirang World

CGTN

Channel News Asia

Earth TV Live (One of the best music background)

To match FM coverage more transmitters are required. The existing batch of transmitters operated by MYTV (44 transmitters nationwide) is not enough.

Probably if we're like the UK with all of these has local ops here and willing to dive the costs, or you've to wait mytv to dive money to do it.

Why?

They're already aired free on the internet without regional locks or any restrictions.

For that reason why people who already experienced free live TV will never want to watch terrestrial TV anymore.

The saying some truth coming from Malaysian public and elders, our government purposely airs useless TV channels to dumb down the public.

I'm sure these companies are happy to expand their markets and reach if the local TV broadcasting companies are willing to cooperate with them with ads to maintain their operational costs.
