I was found on Unifi TV that it will still continue broadcast some of Chinese content.

Any reply regarding with the Schedule episode ?
Take example , what is the episode of yesterday 06:00 PM
Running Man on NTV7 ?

No schedule list of episode ? previously tonton will show the episode list , did they remove it ?

Also , Does MYTV knows who is watching on their MYTV Setupbox ? why does calls come in when they ask customer to active the MTTV setupbox ? Howdo they know ? spying ?

What do you mean they call in and ask customer to activate the MYTV box? Can elaborate further?

If it's MYTV DTH (requires satellite dish to receive MYTV digital TV channels) especially those who reside outside DTT coverage, then yes, STB activation must be done on their side.

If it's the usual DVB-T2 terrestrial one, then there's no activation needed whatsoever.

It is not on activation , more like they know (your who officially bought from MYTV at https://www.mytvbroadcasting.my/ reseller partner ) knows you did not setup the box.

A customer who order a setup box but not yet install due to covid restriction around 3 months ago and later get calls from MYTV telling the customer to better setup the box for them to calculate.I too surprise why does MYTV request user to setup.What do they need to calculate.

How do they know customer whether they had setup the box ? do they have a way to detect which customer who bought the setup box but not yet setup ? not like astro with user ID card.

I really need more feedback , looks like MYTV knows who is watching , which channel often watch , switching channel timeline and etc.

Even if they have date doesn't mean they know you haven't setup , except the setup box have an ID which send out to MYTV nearest hub for identifying.
Which it mean , they know what content you are watching , channel hours/time you are watching ?

On another note, Media Prima's Tonton and NST Text (Online) through HbbTV (Teletext) function not working in MYTV Myfreeview box when I checked yesterday morning.

I hope Media Prima's will fix this.

Certainly hoping for ntv7 to (re)pick back most contents from Travel Channel. (since Astro doesn't have it and the unifi one without subtitles)

Media Prima is already in the journey of going bankrupt anyway, so do expect the programming of the channels would become total useless someday, or become 100% shopping only.

You could say that Wow Shop (previously known as CJ Wow Shop) is their biggest source of income now.

If u want to have better channels and programming, consider getting Njoi (no monthly subscription) or the usual Astro.

is the unifi tv app in android tv limited to 480p only?

dont expect they going to purchase powerful content la
now not tv era anymore, viewers does not wait for content to come
instead viewers go to source the content online
their very own VOD platform tonton also bungkus already since they are going all out to save cost
instead they upload their content on youtube tonton channel
media prima just patch every slot with wow shop la since the division is making money but not enough to save the entire group la
so now u see VIVO ads placement in primetime news slot, popup ads banner etc

got show, just watch only, no read episode number also. you want latest, got watch it on tv2, sat or sun. not sure, you go check yourself.

TV2 got Chinese drama 10AM-12PM, Monday and Tuesday morning, then got Chinese news and Chinese informative show. Then Monday to Friday got Chinese drama at 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Everyday afternoon got Chinese news at 12:00pm, after that got informative show wan. Thursday night at 9:30pm got Chinese movie. I just watch Cantonese/Mandarin action packed drama "Helios" just now. Sunday evening 4PM got Chinese talk show "What say you?".

Also Chinese news and "What Say You?" show on TV2 sometimes simulcast on RTM BES channel same time.

Somewhere Wednesday/Thursday/Friday night on TV2 got original Japanese "The Mask Singer" between 11:30PM - 1:30AM.

Also if watch TV3 at Monday to Friday 11PM -12PM got Korean drama "Hotel Del Luna" and on Awesome TV channel got other Korean drama in afternoon between 11AM-1PM and somewhere in evening at 2:30/5:00/6:00PM I think.

Also if watch Drama Sangat channel got Chinese drama at 7:00AM repeat at 12:00 or 1:00PM and 7:00PM and 12:00AM or 1:00AM.

Also TV3 got Filipino drama at afternoon 3:00PM Monday to Thursday and TV Okey channel use to show Filipino drama at 12PM/1AM, but that TV Okey channel Filipino drama already just come to and end last week so no more.

Bernama News Channel also got Chinese news but I think somewhere at evening or night.

PS: Probably got more Chinese/Korean/Japanese/
Thai/Filipino show wan just have to check EPG on MYTV Myfreeview.

TV9 also probably got Korean show,I saw Hotel Del Luna repeat on TV9 last night. Probably got other Korean TV show, I don't know.

Hope NTV7 can show more Chinese programmes again.

Also for Chinese sports fans there is CBA ( Chinese Basketball Association) Tournament from China/Taiwan but commentary is in English on RTM Sports every Mon to Fri at 5PM - 7PM.

I usually watch One Championship highlights and live/recorded events in English, WWE Smackdown, This week in WWE, Sports Max and motor racing on RTM Sports.
