What i actually mean is, there must be a specific term of agreement in this refund policy.

Yes we all know that those 75% refund within 3 month of usage..etc etc...but, is that it?

Are they willing to refund, even the connection is OK? Or they have specific condition that must be met before they refund us.

For example, 100% refund policy...several condition must be met.

Blind spot area or almost blind spot area + within 3 days + downoad not more than 3 MB. (<-- if i am not mistaken)

yes... they are willing to refund. The 100% refund policy is to protect themself from being abuse of the money back gurantee.

regarding the blind spot area, those that download not more than 3MB can get 100% refund(No need to pay RM180) within the 7 days. If more than 3MB, the RM180 charges applies.

Why are they giving this is because they want customer's satisfaction. and they are looking forward to cover the whole of malaysia by 2010.

every service provider would face problems. Its about how long they would take to solve it.

ask yourself this... do you still face problem with streamyx? How long have they been in the market?

How long celcom is in the market?
19 years
How long Maxis is in the market?
15 years.
How long is iZZi in the market?
months...

thats why they are giving this money back gurantee policy. Look at the growth of the tower station monthly... you will see that they are willing to invest into problematic situation that accurs to customer. but they too need customers feedback to be better. So, send in all your feed back...

I gain more confidence after the GM gave the speech... he even invited his engineers to the speech for question that is out of his hand.

hi everyone,

i was an ex-izzi subscriber. in my past experience on this new broadband service, the speed will only fast & stable in day time.however, speed will drop significantly during night time but stil can surf net & downloading with 20-40kbps. my signal all the time 100%. night time latency will b higher if compare to day time. I think this is due to more users connected at the same time with same base station in night.

therefore, in my opinion it's not suitable for heavy users like gamer, p2p....
i would say that it is more suitable for light users who only need mobility n get connected all the time any where within coverage.

I have terminated the contract & shift to streamyx. that's due to im belongs to heavy users.

If i recall properly, is there any GSM mobile in 1988?

Added on November 19, 2007, 7:53 pmhmmm...tracing back the history of maxis, it really that old lol... kudos to your history knowledge.

Maxis establish in 1993, about 14 years already...XD XD

Added on November 19, 2007, 7:55 pmbut to be honest, my sometime 'crap' izzi perform better than my office (KVC) streamyx. Corporate package also DC every 3 to 4 minutes.

hi guys i've been reading a lot of negative stuff about izzi lately. I've been using izzi for more than a month now. I was using vista previously but now i've switch back to xp due to some of my other software problem so i got to reinstall tweakmaster to tune my izzi. before i try tweakmaster the speed is very inconsistent, hardly reach 1mb peak but after done some testing with tweakmaster, these are what i'm getting for the time being. Maybe those experience slow speed could give it a try

btw, there are 5 optimization options where you have to try each of them to check which works for you. i've tried #4 and it works so far..cheers

Option 4 did help A LITTLE BIT. My download speed did went up. Currently staying at genting kelang. Altho very good signal, the download speed sucks big time here, range around 20-50kbps. Sometimes can even go down to single digit only. After trying tweakmaster, dl speed improve to 60-110kbps on average. However, it is inconsistent.

60-110kb/s is considered very good already. its wireless and you can't expect it to perform rock stable speed as land line. maybe a bird might be sitting infront of the antenna at the tower, lol. wonder whether that could be a factor tongue.gif

call them instead of keep waiting for them to call you..

I also launched a complain last Saturday thru their web and since then keep waiting for them to call.. according to the message appear in their web, they need few days to act, if im not mistaken, max is 5 days..
So today is the 4th day and yet nobody call..
So I decided to call them instead of keep waiting..

The customer care guy not so helpful..
he asked few questions and but my questions to him he cant answer me back..
He asked me to do screen shot on the speed test using izzi' speed test and sent to them... thats mean got to wait somemore lo..
He gave me a bad impression as I asked for his name and he is so reluctant to tell.... he said he is from customer care..
Hope after I send wat ever they ask and my problem can be solve la..
