For my case, it didn't help using Option 4 and the speed drop... So, I have deleted the tweakmaster... iZZi people still haven't call me after I launched report last weekend. I am still waiting... =.=||

Priesty, u r using vista right. Dont mess with tweakmaster if you use vista. No point. Vista will auto adjust the size on the packet to optimize your izzi connection.

My XP yes, i need to use speedguide tools to fine tune my izzi connection. But, with vista, during 6 to 7 AM, I am able to download at 110 kBps consistantly. That's remarkable. I believe, my vista tcp ip setting (actually standard from installation only) already at top notch state. The limitation only on izzi site, especially peak hour. I just hope, they will install more antenna because PJ and KJ suddenly has so many izzi user.... no thanks to the continuous aggressive campaign at DigitalMall and Giant KJ.

try to activate TCP IP 6 at your vista. It might help a bit (have no theory behind this, but I set it ON by the way)

All I can tell you is this:

(1) I missed my 3 month refund window, and now have to wait till my 6 months anniversary, when I will definitely cancel due to poorer and poorer performance as time passes

(2) looking at the other responses in this thread, it seems this is a bad service for most people, and yet there are so many people signing up. Like I said previously, we must love torturing ourselves unnecessarily

(3) don't believe what people who have a vested interest in selling this service say. They will only say good things to sell the service, so take their comments with a big pinch of salt

(4) in the early days of my subscription, I could download at 110-120KB/s using HTTP direct download, 4 max connections per file. Nowadays, I have to use 16 connections for one file, same file hoster. This leads me to believe that they have throttled their per HTTP thread download limit to compensate for their lack of bandwidth. Other transfers have also slowed considerably as well, such as FTP and BT; some have degraded by at least 50%

(5) they're desperate for business now - notice all the "special offers" where you pay 12 months and get 15 months. Early customers are not appreciated since the offer is not offered to them. I am sure the current performance problems is due to them signing up too many new users without a corresponding increase in bandwidth. So, as a future customer, you may as well wait until they get really desperate and start throwing price and freebies at you

Good point wr6969. If my izzi show no improve at all, definitely i will not miss the sweet 3 month refund windows. Why should I torture myself heh. From power downloader and torrenter, I downgrade myself to casual downloader and casual torrenter...and then, downgrade myself to once a while downloader (no more torrent, time out to much for other apps), then I downgrade myself again..for casual web surfer...and play online game at 6 AM to 7 AM (before go to work)...haiz...all this self downgrade was done..because I don't want to bang my head at my house wall...

My hard earn RM1300 fly away...blink blink blink.'

Imagine, I need to wake up as early as 5 AM to use my own broadband....because peak hour (no more peak night..every night also peak now) ... i can't play online game at all. My mage need low latency connection..if not it will be killed first by mob..before his magic casted for the 3rd time..aiya. Lucky I am not playing online FPS...if yes, T_T

Streamyx also got problems....dc dc dc..pun sakit hati also...what to do..we have no choice. Hopefully, next month, all streamyx infrastructures upgrade will be completed.

Added on November 22, 2007, 2:28 pmBut, too much critics on easy also not fair to them..because, sometime, let say half of the time (espcially when I took 1 day off), the performance is OK one...only at night...when everyone come home and use the limited bandwidth ..suffer la. Hmm...anyone know any Security Guard vacancy available biggrin.gif

perhaps...his connection is much better now. If the connection is great, why bother to type about it..that's normal for a human. It's rare to find a person who grueling about something, then that things run great...and then, the person come back and tell us "never mind what I told you before, it run perfectly fine now"

biggrin.gif Just speculation...seriously sleepy in my freakiy quite office. biggrin.gif:D:D

Anyway Anodize, as a Izzi distributer, are you working closely with them? If yes, perhaps, you could convey our problems here to the management smile.gif

ps : Sorry if the question is noob question, but I really dont know the answer.

well... edwinlim is the customer care consultant in izzi... it should be dealt with accordingly... i cannot just cut the q. but problems such as this had already been brought up in the management. The engineers are looking into it already.

The other problem about 100% signal but cannot get good connection had also been brought up too... so, it will be pretty soon the problem will be solved.

well for one you can refer your case to the MCMC for further "pushing"...

i'm well aware that most of you are already verse in iburst technology and its "limitations" smile.gif

Lol... its good to know that you are still alive...hehehehehe....
as for customer satisfaction, i am not too sure if its 30% as to what i know, there are still many users satisfied with the connection as their coverage is not shared by many users yet... but i believe that by the time their coverage is being shared by many, towers would be up already...

i can say the amount of subscribers that they are taking in is much higher then the rate they are deploying the network/towers..

so it causes the problem...
