this is my antenna

this is just a prototype, going to enhance to by building another parabolic type. the rec'ver point (N connector) is not perfect so going to correct it in my next project, but in the mean time it's fully functionable and signal is constantly 80-98% during connection even when it's rainning.
*
Geez, can u tell me how u do that anthenna? I wanna try it on my izziPro, I'm getting 50-70% signal strength from my place. biggrin.gif

wtf r we waiting for?dog dog moaning? who r u?
then wtf r u talking? setting mtu? im using tcp  optimizer to set, i even set it to maximum which the software help u to do tat as well. the 1400 as u suggesting, nothing different. so dont think that when u getting good speed, then u got the power to shoot us here.  vmad.gif

im waiting to c ur speed slow like us 1 day, then u can feel wut we r. from there, i will suggest u to set ur mtu to 1400. mad.gif
*
Setting MTU size does make different. People are trying to give advise and opinion. which is why we're all here for. Please don't flame. blush.gif
Google it why and how does MTU makes different in changing MTU size la. biggrin.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

P/S: set MTU size to 1400 if u use through router. 1400 MTU size is recommended by izzi. You can find it in thier website.

anyone using Izzinet around VISTA KOMANWEL? I want some opinions about it. Plan to switch to that from times..
*
I'm using izziPro, staying at vista commanwealth B2.
Not satisfied YET, cause I understand why the speed and signal is slow and low here, which i understand they haven't complete set up thier base tower at endah ria.
I'll just have to wait until they set up thier new base tower, then only I start about opinion on iZZi.

so far now, using it for the 2nd week, speed goes up to 70-80kb/s, which likely unbelievable for me, with 50-70% signal strength
1st week was like <30kb/s.
I'm sharing with my housemate by the way.

Bear in mind, that iBurst signal, even it can cover up to 13 km radius, we still bonded to the nature of wireless data transmission. The coverage will detotriate significantly if your home is blocked by tall building, or there is a couple of walls before it reach your izzi antenna. Even tennis court fence will affect the signal.

Do u mean the signal goes straight ? just straight ? biggrin.gif
just curious with your statement. biggrin.gif

<my real life profile has been known....  sweat.gif >

Where do u send them? the complain form. biggrin.gif
Wanna send one, I'm really really frus by having less than 50% speed they gave. blush.gif
I call lot's of time and what they can tell me is to wait for a month to let them diagnose the problem on their base tower. blink.gif

Nvmlar, need more feedback to improve the service, hehehe. tongue.gif

I also dun know why there are no coverage yet for sri petaling.Later hope the base station is up around there. icon_rolleyes.gif

Do you have any idea there's a new base tower nearby carrefour? If I'm not mistaken it's gonna be at endah villa or endah regal. Maybe you can inform people here that any one of your new base tower came online. Appreciate it. biggrin.gif

at their website..ticket to complain.

Luckily i get feedback from izzi staff is refering to edwinlim post here...not physical phone contact what so ever. They never contact me or email me even, I give them every single piece of information to do so.

50% of the speed...hmm..complain so they will know more and more customer start to feel not content. Hopefully, this will make they install new antenna to support more user. I a bit affraid izzi will become another tmnut screamyx....overloaded customer with limited pipeline.

I still able to bear with "capped" bandwith...as long as the line perferctly stable, no dc, low latency....no timeout. But thing getting worst now..  cry.gif

Edwinlim...please help us.  icon_question.gif
*
They even assign to send one team of technical support to check my house, and they will call me after 2 days later, now it's like the 12th days, not even a ring on my phone. blush.gif

Since iZZi havin limited base tower and starting to have more crowded user using on one base tower, I guess I'll just have to wait until they finish my area's base tower, because what I know is now I currently connected to The Mine's base tower.
IF since they finish their new base tower, and I'm still havin slow, spike, dc, timeout... mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif vmad.gif
You know. biggrin.gif whistling.gif

How do you send ticket to iZZi? I can't find any in iZZi website also. rclxub.gif

i'm still waiting izzi to cover more near Desa Sri Puteri,Desa Petaling.
as you can see there is still no coverage between kuchai & selangor turf club. In thier service coverage said got coverage at desa petaling, but when i tested here result was bad ( 100-150kbps only ).

So it should be the coverage here not strong enought.

oh my goddd.. they change their installation complete from date 30th october to 15th november now 30th november. what are they up to? I'm waiting for them to complete installing serdang's base tower blush.gif blush.gif

every service provider would face problems. Its about how long they would take to solve it.

ask yourself this... do you still face problem with streamyx? How long have they been in the market?

How long celcom is in the market?
19 years
How long Maxis is in the market?
15 years.
How long is iZZi in the market?
months...

thats why they are giving this money back gurantee policy. Look at the growth of the tower station monthly... you will see that they are willing to invest into problematic situation that accurs to customer. but they too need customers feedback to be better. So, send in all your feed back...

I gain more confidence after the GM gave the speech... he even invited his engineers to the speech for question that is out of his hand.
