Just watched The Irishman. Holy batman, 3 hours and a half of pure awesomeness. Since i liked the godfather then maybe I'm abit biased because this got all the vibe of the godfather too, hell they even played the iconic godfather theme song early on in the restaurant scene giving me a goosebump lol
The movie is full of suble jokes too here and there.
Frank: I'm sorry but i gotta direct youse to my attorney mr ragano if youse wanna talk about mr hoffa or any matter for that matter. I got nothing new to say. The fbi guy: he's dead. Frank: who's dead? The fbi guy: your attorney, mr ragano. Frank: he's dead? Who did it? The fbi guy: ..... cancer.
I laughed so hard
Anyone liked crime, mafia themed slow burning movie then this is to be watched. 10/10
Man
Need 2 take an off day 2 watch this shit

Watching artsy more mind challenging than BO cinema flicks

I need to make time to watch this. Godfather is still one of my favourite movies.
6 Underground - The same shitty incoherent pile of garbage you associate with what Michael Bay capable of. The same juvenile dick jokes with inconsequential story beats that infuriatingly does not make any sense. FARK this movie!!!
Marriage Story - After The Irishman, there is no contest the second best movie put out by Netflix is this for 2019. It's not as bleak as Blue Valentine where the perfect couple slowly eroding to bitter animosity toward each other. It's more than that, it shows the trauma of actually going through a divorce that seldom depicted in movie. While a lot of crying and frustration going on, there's healthy of humour to keep you invested. It's not a misery porn drama but a great dramedy with a very likable cast. Superb acting performance and I can see why Adam Driver being a frontrunner for best actor nomination.

Haha never knew the beloved kylo ren was the great artsy actor outside star wars
I think i should check this out soon and i wonder does Rey had any best role outside of star wars
Just watched 2 early episode of the witcher. Not that good but not terrible either. Mind you i didn't visit it already knew the storyline because i haven't read the book nor played the game. The pace are abit "fast" for my liking, plus a few inconsistency like geralt was supposed to be a miserable loner because he was shunned all his life but then he can insta befriend the annoying joker from the tavern just fine. Like wtf? Passive aggresive friendly loner.
Another thing, maybe its really in the book but I wouldn't know, what with the full frontal nudity already in ep1? Giving the impression of games of thrones wannabe

Well nudity is like the book.
Finish everything. Well worth it!!!! Need some time to understand the timeline in first few episodes. After ep4-5 probably you can grasp it
The Witcher - a very middling show. It takes awhile to get going and the stakes pretty dull to be intriguing. My only reference was the PS4 game so not a die hard fan of the property. Muddled pacing without a proper hook to be more interesting to watch. Not the worst show on Netflix but also not particularly good.
While The Witcher improve alot by each episode, it's just ok overall. Still hopeful though as the game's writing is so damn good and people has been praising the novel as well.
Watched this 3-part documentary series - - absolutely gripping to the last moment.
Was looking for a good 'mystery/weird unsolved case' on Netflix... a day later this pops up
It is about the infamous "1 Lunatic, 1 Ice Pick killer".
The subject of the series is brutal and not for the faint of heart, though the cat killing/murder video is never shown in full.
The story of the cat killer can really be made into a movie because some of the things that occurred are just hard to believe. A wild goose chase around the world from two sides - netizens & the law.
Definitely one of the best Netflix produced content of the year.
I bleed it out, Diggin' deeper just to throw it away!

Dracula 3 part mini series a fresh retold of a classical tale based on Bram Stoker's Dracula with a modern twist
All of the classical characters made an appearance in this retold take, but with some change of roles from minor to major & vice versa from the original classic.
first arc was nice, 2nd arc is interesting, but final arc ending ruined everything, IMO that's the dumbest twist at the end

A clever Dracula doesn't know sun light actually doesn't hurt him in the last 400 years? and He's actually making out with Van Helsing & died together?
