Really digging Olivia Colman taking over Claire Foy. Guess it's Margaret Thatcher turn now to tango with the Queen.

Peaky Blinders is worth looking into although not an original netflix show. The first three seasons almost perfect TV for me. In my eyes there are up there with The Wire or Sopranos.

People are going ga-ga over The Irishman. GDT wrote some passionate man-crush review at his Twitter.

El Camino - The proper send off of Jesse.
This one solely for those who wanted a more definitive closure for Jesse Pinkman. Picking up right after Jesse escapes the meth facility. Gilligan did his usual passive Chekhov's guns set-up that kept you guessing the payoff. It's the last hurrah that won't rival the best Breaking Bad episode but a bittersweet finale that close the final chapter. A great send off or a very well written epilogue. The flashbacks tug your heartstrings with cameos of the who's who of Breaking Bad.

The Laundromat - So-so only. Like the playful tone but wishy-washy on messaging.

The King - Another take on King Henry V, the reluctant King who also known as the great warrior king that successfully wage a war campaign against France. While I enjoyed the majority of actors in it, competently shot but it's just another historical biopic that doesn't rise against the norm. Joel Edgerton and Robert Pattison gave good and funny performance to contrast an otherwise somber movie.

Dolemite is my name - This movie oozes blood and tears from the comedy element. It's a passion project by Eddie Murphy that tells the story of Rudy Ray Moore, a down on his luck entertainer who find fame and glory in an unexpected outlet. A well rounded cast of who's who black comedians that makes this heartfelt and feel good movie of the year. Wesley Snipes is all golden as the detestable actor. Highly recommended.

Thx man. I kinda enjoyed King Arthur: Legend of the Sword so was hoping the film to be on the same vein...would consider watchin it..esp Robert's stealing the spotlight nowadays...future Batman, Nolan's tenet now this...

Think the King is a prelude to Villeneuve's Dune. You can gauge what Timothee Chalamet can bring to table as the conqueror Paul Atreides.

6 Underground - The same shitty incoherent pile of garbage you associate with what Michael Bay capable of. The same juvenile dick jokes with inconsequential story beats that infuriatingly does not make any sense. FARK this movie!!!

Marriage Story - After The Irishman, there is no contest the second best movie put out by Netflix is this for 2019. It's not as bleak as Blue Valentine where the perfect couple slowly eroding to bitter animosity toward each other. It's more than that, it shows the trauma of actually going through a divorce that seldom depicted in movie. While a lot of crying and frustration going on, there's healthy of humour to keep you invested. It's not a misery porn drama but a great dramedy with a very likable cast. Superb acting performance and I can see why Adam Driver being a frontrunner for best actor nomination.

The Witcher - a very middling show.
It takes awhile to get going and the stakes pretty dull to be intriguing. My only reference was the PS4 game so not a die hard fan of the property. Muddled pacing without a proper hook to be more interesting to watch. Not the worst show on Netflix but also not particularly good.

If you don't mind harsh language, this fella is pretty good and came across like a "China man" Bill Burr. His angry tone compliment his rather sophisticated jokes.

He's a Malaysian doing stand-up comedy in Australia and now migrated to US. He rose to fame by being a correspondent in The Daily Show with his angry brand of humour. He is on the verge of becoming somebody big. His joke on teaching his mom to use computer is amazing.

Locke & Key dropping tomorrow. If you like the show, do seek out the comic books. It's one of the best horror with Stand By Me hooks. People will compare this to Stranger Things to a degree but it's creation came much more earlier.

Narcos Mexico S2 - Still the gripping drug cartel drama. Suppose if Netflix to greenlight next season, Amado is the new kingpin and then follows by Chapo.

Locke & Key - They got right about the concept but scale back on the gritty horror aspects. The books way more graphic and dark with the human dramas. This is the PG13 version of source material but enough of enticement of what makes those keys interesting in the first place. Good but not great.

Almost forgotten about this. Hope it's something to look forward to.

Tiger King is the best kind of dumpster fire you can't look away. You lose your shit over how effed up things gonna get and never could see the twist and turn coming. Seriously you will not be disappointed!
