This netflix still very primitive.. alot new movies they also only HD and no HDR at all.. wat the heck man..

you should look at the contents on HBO Go asia, will make you weep

but then netflix we paying so much for the 4k hdr, only their netflix originals is 4k hdr only, so lousy eh. Not sure US punya how..

N it reunites the Tom berenger n Billy Zane back
Solid entertainment
Plus got a few callbacks if u watched the very first sniper movie with aforementioned duo.

Special operations ( but in Portuguese)
Nice gritty Brazilian police movie
Watch it esp if u like tropa de elite movies
The character arc of the main heroine is nicely done imo

4K HDR content for US also is similar, except they have bigger library for western series/movies

Here we have more Indian, Korean & Indon/Malay movies
half of the daily top 10 sure is K-drama/movie

If there's a movie I really want to watch in 4K HDR Dolby Atmos? I'll go look for jack sparrow

but I ain't complaining on the RM55 we paid for the UHD content, it still has more than enough original content for me, just need to find the time to watch nia

Just finished binged watching Yasuke. Its actually pretty good for an anime. I'd rate it around 6.5/10, not higher because its too short imho, only 6 episodes and 2 major antagonist. Since its about samurais, theres some 18+ gore actions like seppuku, beheading, cutting limbs etc. They also didn't shy on portraying blood from the gore lol. I liked anime so i might be biased tho but Netflix seems pretty good at producing anime series lately like Dota, and Yasuke.

Yasuke an ok watch only. Nothing too special about it. As the reigning king of anime studio, Mappa again delivers the goods but the storyline is your average action anime that has nothing to do historical accuracy but the usual anime dark fantasy of ass whupping and demonic sorcery.

Finished watching the horror thriller Things Heard & Seen. I watched it because saw Amanda Seyfried name in the cast. Not her best performance but not her worst too. The movie itself was just blerghh, too many things unexplained, and good god..


I rate it 4.5/10, passable as an okay-is watch if theres nothing else to watch. I'd rate it lower if not for Amanda's acting.

I have no intention to watch this at all until the podcast I listened to raving about it incessantly. To my surprise, this is one of the best Netflix animated feature. From the people behind Spiderverse, so the animation doesn't disappoint. Sit through the cliche set-up, once the second act kicks in. It's non stop fun and very timely internet jokes that fuels majority of the laughing gags. When the credit rolls, you can't stop the grinning on your face. Highly recommended. Really glad this isn't your Pixar rip-off but something that can stand out on it's own.

4k, Dolby Vision. Dark Russian Harry Potter in a war.

2 episodes in. Not bad at all. But have to Google a bit on the lore.

Bummer this new season only 8 episodes. Anyway it's the same as season 1 of high quality animation shorts. For me about 3 of them really good especially the one by Tim Miller that's very poetic and the blade runner-ish Pop Squad really a standout. Really hope David Fincher will come in to direct an episode but let's see what the next season's lineup will be.
