Dota: Dragon's Blood is really good, I'm legit shocked. Highly recommended if you like Castlevania.

Bad Trip is a fun time if you're into Eric Andre style adult comedy. This movie is basically a hidden camera prank, framed into a road trip comedy.

It's either you're into Eric Andre type of gross out comedy or you just don't care. He can be a bit of miss and hit. As a movie this is just so-so but I'm fascinated with the public reacting real time to his absurd pranks. The stranger who rose up to occasion to be a good samaritan really suck me in. I love the effort they put into the movie but not so much of the end product. Not saying it's not funny as I did laugh out loud for few bits. The end credit BTS footage is amazing. This is a slicker production than Borat 2 but not as topical or reverent.

Looks like another hit from Mappa Studio. Their winning streak is unstoppable and hope Lakeith Stanfield involvement signals this more than your usual samurai anime.

If you can look past the corny costumes, I believe there's something there got me interested. Hope for the best.

The irregulars: not bad after watching 3 episodes. Paranormal/investigation series. I'm not into all this SJW BS but the main lead is chinese British and most important is she can act.

4K, Dolby Vision, some dark scenes hard to see unless maybe you have OLED screen.

Summary: not boring

IDK, I didn't get any motivation to continue after Ep1, I guess the SJW thingy ruined it for me
yeah, nowadays you must cast non-white non-male as the main leads else you gonna draw some flaks from the SJW sad.gif
but for those kind of cast during victoria london? rclxub.gif

special effects are pretty meh too

maybe I'll pick it up again when i got mood

She's the only Asian which is a bit odd unless more episodes show other minority. If you look past that, it's an entertaining show.

I watched eng dub despite being a dub hater all my entire life lol

Because the story is set in Aus, would be weird to hear to 'nani' and 'kisama' in a Jaegar cockpit laugh.gif

They did a great job on the Eng dub anyway.

Just finish watching Love and Monsters and it surprised me by how good it is. A lil bit cliche on the storyline but superb execution overall, especially on the mutated monster premise. Theres a plothole I'm not satisfied because no proper conclusion given to it.

Overall a good flick, maybe around 7/10. If they make it into a series like twd but instead of zombies we got those mutated monsters, I'd definitely watch it.

Snabba Cash - Gritty crime thriller.
Right after TGWTDT became a global hit, Snabba Cash trilogy was the next big crime thriller came out from Sweden. It brought Joel Kinnaman to Hollywood. This is not a remake based on the movies or books, instead it's an update of new settings and characters with the same DNA of the earlier movies. Multiple plotlines interwoven to tell a complex crime thriller. Good watch. Season 2 already in the works.

Highly recommend Love & Monsters. Such a sweet action adventure movie that really emphasized on the adventure part. One of the most fun movie I've watched last year.

Also, Final Girls is damn good too. It's about a bunch of teenagers got transported into a cult horror slasher movie and has to figure out how to survive and escape. Horror movie fans will have a blast with this.

Just finished another one, Synchronic. Watched because of Anthony Mackie. Abit slow at the start but it took off pretty well, and I can't shake the feeling of the dialogue between the 2 main character to be too.. umm ”poetic"? Like some zenmaster talking lol.

The premise is about 2 paramedics encountering victims of synthetic drugs that can bend time, basically time travel pills. Like the pills in Project Power that granted superpowers, these pills will make the consumer travel back in time for 7 minutes. Abit of semi spoiler

A good sci-fi flick, I'd say around 6.5/10. Highly recommended for sci-fi lover. I lol'ed abit when saw 2 instance of the film taking a jab at sjw. Won't spoil on how, but you'll definitely see it if you watch the film biggrin.gif
