How about netflix series?

Katla is pretty interesting so far (2 eps watched). It's a mystery series.

Just watched ep 1. Ok so far

The black actor is from zoo TV series. So, can say perfect for the role.

Scenery is beautiful, New Zealand

This show is very much alike Les Revenant the superb french mystery drama. Katla is the active volcano in Iceland. Mysterious human keep emerging from the volcano ash. The scifi angle is the volcano ash has the ability to clone beings. So far the returned human from the volcano bringing closure to heavy lingering human drama and can't help that their presence has ominous undertones. This is a deliberate slow burning mystery drama. Don't go in expecting action packed scenes. Also this show is gorgeously filmed with epic landscapes.

Damn...Black Summer season 2 premiere is intense. I highly recommend this show if you're itching for some zombie goodness without The Walking Dead draggy plotline.

Action still top notch, story got weaker (draggy and too simple, still like 1st one better), some actor still cant act / bad script (Sanosuke and Yahiko especially)

I wonder why Netflix dont bring in Ep2 and 3 (Kyoto Inferno Arc). for first timer watching The Final without Ep 2 and 3 can't relate to characters like Aoshi

The music they used when Sweet Tooth chase the black guy (same song used in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty) is well used, get me hooked to this series.

btw the 2nd and 3rd also in netflix but in different region...need to use vpn to watch...

can't wait fot 5th film the beginning....just released in japan....need to wait longer for international release or netflix....not sure when...
