In term of bass, z5500 better, but when comes to music, s730 produces better clarity.

R501 mk2 is a low-end 5.1, about rm400+-, so what do you think ??

If you wanna make it inside rm1000, then s730(rm999+-), best 2.1 speaker in rm1000 IMHO.

If you wanna get 5.1 instead of 2.1, then s550(rm1299+-), off course you have to pay more

If you want LOUD/BOOMY bass, which is suitable for gaming/movie, get Logi Z5500, which is not suitable for you if you like to listen to oldies/jazz, the satellite is not that good.

If you want clarity from the satellite, very tight bass from the sub, get Edifier s730, which is not suitable for you if you are a basshead, the bass is tight, but not as loud/boomy as Z5500, i don't know if this can shake your room or not, have to audition it yourself.

tq for the explanation....last time i try s530D n quite disapointed with the bass since im quite a bass head...but my budget is rm1000 only so Z5500 is out of my budget la....i dunno which speaker is the best for the price range of Rm1000 tha tsuite me...if got enough budget sure get z5500 la...

If u looking for 2.1 system, i would recommend u the S730

ya.. My friend already book S730 from the shop there..btw...which sound card is best pair with S730? I expect the sc that have RCA output?any suggestion?

Try to take a good 2.1 , becoz at that price , normally those 5.1 is entry level one , wont give u many satisfaction try get Edifier S330 la, it suit ur budget and the sound quality is very good , praised everywhere
