Cuz back then when Unifi was introduced, VDSL is only used in high rise buildings instead of landed houses.
Not until in recent years, TM started to upgrade from the old Streamyx ADSL customers to Unifi VDSL for landed houses, due to the pressure by the public for faster speeds and lower prices.

Both ADSL and VDSL are also uses the same telephone copper cable, but the technology is different. Although VDSL technology can support faster speeds than ADSL (the slow Streamyx), it's still couldn't match like fibre internet does.

Wakao.. This modem so old generation already still so durable.
Impossible can support VDSL one..

If really can support, my innatech brand (supply by TM previously) can use marker pen write ADSL to VDSL already for my Unifi Fiber..

I still not get my September bill. I login the website and check my account and didnt see any change, just curious.

I'll update again when I get my bill.

they would say ... this is bill for month of August .. not September ..

From my TM bill, i see they charge 'forward'. Means the September bill is charged on subscription from September to October.

And with this, i should see a prorated charge on my August bill actually, but it was not there...

so yeah, TM.

Damn~~~ still charge RM160 for Sep

I'm just curious, how do you get a bill ending 27/09/19, when today's date is just 2/9/19? Is there a way to check future bill?

Could it be that they are not actually implementing the new change until....like the middle of the month? That'll be a pain for me though with speed lower than 8 Mbps.

According to the image, the "migration" happens at 5-September. Problem is they only say "September" without an exact date. So now haven't migrated yet, only time will tell?

Absolutely right~~ only time can tell...

From TmPoint they told me any bill date left during August still calculate as rm160(or what you pay per month). Only after september bill rate will calculate as rm69

Eg.

My bill is rm150 and bill is on 19/8. So i will pay from 20/8 to 31/8 using rate rm150/month(31) = rm4.84 per day and september rm69/month(30) = rm2.3

My August left 12days x rm4.84 = rm58.04
My September bill at 18/9 is 18days x rm2.3 = rm41.40

Total will be rm99.44 without tax bill at 18/9
Starting at 18/10 my bill will be rm69

So basically here this is what TmPoint told me about the calculation rate.
