So i'm thinking the way to doing it is to ask my plaster ceiling contractor to box it up before install the metod kc(if Im using ikea kc) with a minimum gap between kc and plaster box just to create that similar to 'full ceiling feel'.

Mind to share with me as well? Which supplier is that?

i have a big sink (work station) and together with gas hob will take up to 80% of the counter top, which mean if i use quartz stone, only 20% left. very wasteful, any other alternative on the material ?

another question, can we do gas piping routing from Yard to the indoor kitchen, usually the contractor know about this ?

Similar to AC piping ...can be from the service road at the kitchen where the ODU to the living room IDU

Engage an experienced person to do it.

For kitchen counter top, any photo ?  There are always alternative materials in the market, only if you like it.

If there's gap between KC and plaster, won't you worry about the dust accumulate there and hard to clean?

My comment on practicality: Your layout need to allocate some space to park dishes whilst cooking and/or after washing as well. Unless you are planning to have those above sink kinda dish rack for drying.

Hello All, I'm asking about the "Toilet sink cabinet" here, since I think it should be similar to kitchen sink?`.

Would like to install a simple cabinet below the toilet sink, and not too sure if the Ikea base cabinet, must it use together with Ikea sink? or it can be fit with the existing sink?

Does anyone of you have experience on this before?

Looks like existing sink will be smaller and D shaped..the ikea sink is actually more squarish so it will avoid gap. The base cabinet CAN-use lah with existing sink but there will be a funny gap ya. Check pipe runs in X Y axis from the water point and drain point so the planned drill holes do not clash with the pipe runs.

from ur experience, is it advisable to buy a new ikea sink, or look for people to "custom made" the small cabinet ya?

Can the KC install directly under the plaster without any gap? What I meant is without deco panel.

I'm renovating my condo in 1BU and have quite extensive cabinetry / carpentry work i want to do.

Got a quotation from Tivolli design and Homa Kitchen and considering between the two but also want to hear if there are any other strong recommendations.
Am looking at

a. Dining room cabinet full height x 12ft
b. TV Cabinet width 8ft
c. Master Bedroom L shape cabinet full height- 14 ft
d. 3rd Bedroom cabinet full height x 8 ft
e. Kitchen - L shape 16ft base unit, 10 ft wall cabinet full height, Island 6ft x 3ft, Wet kitchen  7ft base unit + 7ft wall cabinet full height (including sink, oven, hood and hob) - all melamine material + quartz top. Sink area added pvc foamboard

Quotations received

1. Tivolli DesignTivolli Design = ~RM52k (currently got 15% + 5% discount from 62k). THey have lifetime warranty, but dunno what the warranty covers. Designs are decent but not super inspiring but they provide FOC ID for certain areas for quotations over 40k

2. Homa KitchenHoma Kitchen = ~RM49.5k (currently got gold package promo) all the above included - only diff master bedroom wardrobe only 10ft, but open walk in, with dresser table and barn door. In package got extra 4ft full heigh shoe cabinet. And installation comes with all the lighting as well. Their design are quite nice (maybe they take better photos) but downside is their warranty only 1 year
Anyone got any good or bad review or advise on the above? Also, if you have a more affordable and good quality vendor i can get a quotation from? Is melamine kitchen okay for my price range? or should go for better materials?

my priorities are design and warranty. Budget abt 50k for all the above
