It really depends how big is your kitchen, what material you want to use, do you want top cabinet too (full height?). Too many factors affecting the pricing. For mine which is about 11ft with 4G glass door, melamine. It is around 10k.

I wanna ask ya, if the house already got KC like in the picture, but I don't like the color, is it possible to keep the frames but just change the doors and hinges?

I believe that's much cheaper than paying to break down the whole thing and rebuild right?

Also, is it possible to change the tiles in between the top and bottom KC without too much trouble?

Possible but the hard part is to get a KC maker to make new doors following existing dimensions. If ikea sizing ones then should be easier to replace whole "look".

Tiles removal need a rotary hammer (to chisel out). The headache is it wont be cost effective to engage a tiling contractor to do small job..if they wanna do. U can explore possibility of DIY sticking tiles with sika tile cement (premixed cement mix) with those tile spacers + spirit/laser line level. Complexity also depends on whether the existing tiles are decorative in between top n bottom cabinet ONLY, or theres tiles behind existing cabinets..

Yes you can change the doors and hinges, once I visited a supplier and they mentioned that one of their customer bought 3g doors and soft close hinges from them and install himself, may check for link below.

Regarding the tiles in between cabinet better check with your contractor first because even if it's possible, I believe it take time and skill.

If you are refering to the photos, there will be some exposed frames which will remain the same colour as the door .... unless you intend to change that too.

Otherwise, choose a new door colour that matches the exposed frames and the counter top.

Another thing to take note is when you change the hinges, it wont last long once is remove and rescrew over the same holes. The screws will lossen up after sometime with constant opening closing.

So if want fast.. get stuff from ikea kitcab.. if for rental the cheap and condemnable Knoxhult series modules for 8 ft shud be under 2k.

If want good will be Metod series for 8 ft can range around 5k to 7k depending on fittings and door choices.

Delivery only RM49 for ikea truck.

Check the hinges ....most probably the screws have lossen.

Adjust the screws. Depending on the hinge some will adjust XY axes only, some better hinges adjust XYZ axes.

Usually this kind of island stove / hood top is more suitable for Western cooking (Steaming, shallow stir fry etc), if do heavy frying & masak sambal tumis etc; this kind of island setup is not practical.

What I have done for my kitchen, is to make the island as my prep table, with plug point on one corner, and a sink at the other corner & use the space as our prep table; and also doubles up as our rice cooker / cake mixer spot.
