Saw the latest promo for signature kitchen. Has anyone enquired with them?
Not sure if the promo is worthy. My budget is around 30k including appliances.

I doubt you can get 30k including appliances from the overpriced signature kitchen. My kitchen no brand also more than 30k including appliances.

Carpentry prices vary a lot from what I gather from this thread here.
Mine is only a normal terrace, looking for I shaped kitchen cabinet about 12ft, possibly with 7ft quartz top.

7ft top is very small. 5ft for stove and sink and you will left with only 2ft of prep space. You sure you can’t design your KC to be bigger with available space in your kitchen? L-shape maybe?

You mean I (as in "me myself and I") or L shaped?

The "me myself and I" is the whole total length kitchen - or you just wanna make 7feet to be more waterproof with quartz and the remainder 5feet can be other things like wood /laminate worktop?

Coz like blanket84 mentioned 7feet just enough for a 1.5bowl sink +drying area of the sink + drying rack only, there is no space left for prep work/chopping food. I have the same problem as my top is 8feet with sink.. just manage to stuff in the above-mentioned plus kettle, rice cooker, air fryer only, and that's it.. barely enough space to put chopping board and cooking supplies bottles/spices.

Stove will need to go elsewhere ie not included in the 7 feet top.

Thanks for the input smile.gif Amateur here so might have used some words interchangeably.
What I mean is like the picture inserted below.
Cabinet side is 12'-13' long
Island itself is about 7' long x 3'

Didn't want to make it L shaped as I wanted to have a small backyard with sliding door, L shape on the other end would make my dining area very small.

Sketched this myself but not finalised yet.

Hi all, if I were to have plywood as my carcass, and melamine as door. Would the wood grain colour not match?

As far as I understand whether it's plywood or melamine, there is still a layer of laminate on top of the body material. So the cabinet maker will be able to have the same colour across carcass and door.

No, the KC maker will be able to wrap either plywood or melamine with the wood grain color you choose.

But usually, inside the carcass, they will choose white color and the door is depending what pattern you choose right?

I was told by cabinet maker that the melamine comes pre-wrapped. And only plywood is done by themselves.
So the melamine would not match the plywood since they are not from the same source

Hi, would like to ask if anyone has a contact for quartz kitchen top fella who can operate at this time in Klang Valley?
My carpenter supplier is not able to start work until end of the month. My cabinets are ready

Also has anyone used large format porcelain slabs eg Marmo as kitchen top? How is the feedback smile.gif
