Why not? Even the lowly HD 2400 or 8500 can handle it if you just want to run Vista without playing games

You don't need any. Just play games, if you see any graphics anomaly then it have problems. Or you can use ATiTool and use their 'Scan for artifact scanner' to check for graphics anomaly

you can find out processor by
1. booting time, the POST
2. Windows' SYSTEM information

with that processor info, it's up to your knowledge (or search the internet) for the FSB and socket information.

penryn is the code name for the new core 2 processor, which is based on the core micro architecture, but it has 6mb l2 cache rather than 4mb for conroe and it will use a newer 45nm process, and furthermore it's the 1st processor to use teh metal gate transistor rather than silicon, which according to intel could give more performance and it will be released next year i think...

Erm, noob question here, whats the average temperatur on Pentium 4.

I didn't care about it befre, but right after I changed my MOBO, I saw that its arround 60 - 70 'C, is that normal?

When I am runnning virus scanning or others heavy task, it will boost up to 80'c, normal again?

you changed mobo - but did you change heatsink?

1. re-apply thermal paste
2. clean the heatsink and fan

it should reduce the temps.

lastly, not everyone will have same temperature cos each casing, it's location and it's environment is different.

Didn't change heatsink, thermal paste reapplied, but those cheapskate la, still... normal temperature is 59 - 62, when gaming or whatever heavy tasks are sunning, it will reach 75++
