ayam sad, get my SE-R on first day spot 1 dead pixel, 2nd day already got 5 dead and dim pixel....warranty cover or not?

Hi yongchin,

If you have more than 2x dead pixels you may send in for warranty and we will change the panel for you. You may refer to our display quality standard as below:

ILLEGEAR Display Quality Standards guarantee your screen has less than 3 lit pixels, 3 dead pixels or 3 lit and dead pixels in total. In choosing dead pixel insurance option, we will ensure that your screen is FREE from ANY dead pixel or partially-lit pixels within 180 days of purchasing.

Note: ILLEGEAR only uses grade A and A+ screens. During the screen manufacturing process, it is not uncommon for one or more subpixels to become fixed in an unchanging state. A display with 1 to 5 fixed subpixel is considered normal and within industry standards. This insurance is for users who cannot accept even one single tiny stuck pixel.

My laptop parcel is forever outbound from damansara perdana and not moving at all, should i be worry?

My data was able to backup. They are quite helpful.
They transferred my backup data into the new SSD.

im pretty much interested to the ionic series, everything there looks good and suits my preferred options.

unfortunately i've noticed that the power charging inlet is at the right hand side instead on the left side of the laptop. regardless to the 14 or 15 inch model.

is a bit turnoff when i saw that. i guess many people may not find any problems with such a design. however i do, as it will gets in my way during pointing my mouse around. it does happen when only you're charging with the power brick.

i wish illegear could come out with a revise version or second edition of ionic that it could fix the power charging inlet at the left hand side or behind the laptop. it will be much better in this way.

Anyone using Selenite Pro and the laptop wobble when the lid is open? When the lid is close, it doesnt.. the left bottom of wobble when press on it or rest my hand on it.

It feels like chassis not balance or weight distribution is not balance....

They use Micron memory. 2666mhz at CL19. Thats what came with my Selenite anyways.

Personal purchase experience:

Ordered a Raven SE-R on 26th of April, make full payment on the same day, item ready to ship out on 16th of May (Total 21 days, 15 to 16 working days), which is acceptable and close to the promise lead time of 14 working days.

Item handover to Gdex on 16th of May afternoon, then subsequently no more update from Gdex, last entry was item outbound from Gdex Damansara Perdana. As per today, after multiple attempt to get Gdex customer service to pickup their phone, their customer service response was oh i got no idea where is the parcel, we will get back to you if we found it. Yes, such an irresponsible courier.

As per today, i still haven't receive my laptop, so i can't comment on the quality of laptop and i am not too sure will i receive my laptop in the end.

For the courier part, i guess maybe it is out of control from Illegear team, but choosing a responsible delivery partner should be part of the shopping experience as well.

So now i am hanging, Illegear team can't do much since the item is already with courier, and courier side will only reply with standard respond like we will check, we will get back to you etc (which it never happen).

Overall, it is a HORRIBLE shopping experience. I will leave another review regarding the laptop quality if i ever receive it. Hopefully this help those still considering buying or not.
