Its not us who decide the final design and components used, though you can debate all night long but its not gonna make Edifier changed their minds anyway. Most just want to read reviews. Even the EMU card which cost hundred of dollars uses crappy op-amp, so its not just Edifier.

but it also doesnt mean end user like us can't complain right?

critiques n comment will make them improve their product
i know u really satisfy with ur own S2k
but not all of the others
some ppl want more
n request for better,
i dun think tat is a problem to edifier to take those complain,

Monitoring SPK is balance speaker which means u can hear very clear all the instrument, background music or vocal for hifi bookshevles speaker it may not clear in a background music like a very soft piano sound but is not clear... For hifi, is much more to Bass / Treble clarity and it does not cater all the sound balance.

You can complain all you like then.. if you feel yelling at your monitor/lcd will make Edifier think twice about it.

The thing is that although the quality of it exceed multimedia category in my opinion, its still being targeted towards PC mainly. Therefore I think Edifier did the right thing capping its cost so that it wont exceed the RM1-1.5k sale price.

IMO although consumer always looks for best bang for their bucks, manufacturers dont always think so. Just take Zhaolu or EMU cards for example. Ppl still complaining about the DAC, Op amp used inside these so called profesional recording card. Consumer just never satisfy while manufacturers never think they have earn enough bucks. Its all give n take. Buy it or leave it. Do whatever you want with your purchase, whether you like to mod it of rip it off.

I think no one should continue with these "bashings" any further. Just relax and wait patiently for the AegoM vs S2000 showdown shall we?

monitor studio speaker is way different to hifi speaker. it's very accurate.
anyway. regarding the date. will be ANY TIME after i back from sarawak.

Bypass the treble and bass setting only... nothing much...

err...sorry, means what...like when the bypass button set to on (lighted)..the bass & trebble will be softer because the amp din amplify the bass & trebble of the source??

Just get a loan unit of ESI Juli sound card from a vendor and will try to install into the system in showroom soon.
Edifier China recommend to match this sound card with S2000.

which model of ESI Juli sound card? ...cud be as costly as the S2000 speaker oh...

Juli@ cost around $600++ IINM.
When you install le, mayb I will pay a visit if can.

According to Edifier China, this card can produce very good sq. Will update here once i install it to the showroom system.
