i bought kansai hiroshima pass, and the Klook agent insisted i can only redeem at KIX counter even though i highlighted many times that my flight will arrive around 9:40pm and won't be able to make it to counter by 10pm.

and the agent kept on repeating "there's nothing we can do, if you can't make it, then return to KIX the following day to collect" x 99 times

i even called HIS counter in KIX to clarify, wasted my money and got the same repeated suggestion

btw for disneyland tickets, can only collect at airports, no longer accept QR scan code at entrance, and yes i have checked with Klook livechat agentS

forgot to mention - i am staying in EM

maybe they already run out of quota for the QR scan code biggrin.gif

last time it was issued via Klook HK where I assume they are 1 of the licensed distributor.

just like JTB Malaysia

Any option to exchange the pass in ocat namba?
Anyway, found that kkday offer JR pass MCO that can be delivered to malaysia, and we can exchange the real pass in main Jr office which operate till 2330.

as i already mentioned in my post, there's no other collection point if you purchase from Klook, bugger i know

the reason i didn't choose kkday is due to the cheaper price i can get from klook (even without promo code)

but if kkday can offer better collection point, by all means go for it

anyone tried luggage services in JP? I'm considering transporting my luggage from Tokyo to Kyoto. I checked with my hotel in Tokyo and they do not facilitate this service. Any idea how to go about it? Thank you.

there's a few company tht offer this service n the price is as low as 1.5k yen per luggage, some u need to email them in advance n some u can just drop it off at the airport n ur luggage will b at ur hotel by the end of the day. usually i send big luggage n carry around small luggage

It's mentioned in the airbnb listing itself. Just double check the host's posting and you'll usually see it there.

It may be a bit suspicious ya if they didn't show the registration number on the post. All of the hosts I checked - they have it. If not listed, I wouldn't go for it. This is to avoid any complications of having accomm cancelled last minute due to unapproved license. Suggest to go for another airbnb if there are others.

suica can be use in both area.

you don't take chances like this. too risky if you ask me and your whole trip will be disastrous if this happen to be a con case.

I'm doing a Kansai trip this November and will be staying in Kyoto for 5 nights to hit the temples/shrines before moving to Osaka for another 5 nights to do mainly side trips to Nara/Kobe/Himeji etc.
One thing to consider is that Osaka accommodation seems to be generally cheaper than Kyoto, especially during autumn.

If you don't care about budget or changing accommodations, staying in Kyoto will be good. However, if you planning to spend time in Osaka, didn't want to change accommodations often and want to stay in a good place with good price, Osaka have more options. Also, doing day trips to Kyoto is not hard at all, it's only a 20 mins train ride. I did it for 4 days straight.
