Carnauba Autospa at Glenmarie is a NO NO for me. I sent my car once and I'm not going back there anymore!

Hey what happened? CA Glenmarie is my favourite spot for car washes, they are quite detailed in exterior washing. I wouldn't say the same for the Tun Razak branch, though...

Waterspots and they left me a long scratch on the boot. The next day I clean myself to remove the waterspots, even cleaner than what they did.

If you are paying for a full detailing and they can't get rid of the bird poo, I would not have paid them. What's the point of having a detailing that cost over RM500 and can't get the bird poo out.

Did you just go for a polish or was it a full detailing? I did my full detailing at Autospa and took them 6 hours of removing every single stain/mark/scratch on both inside and outside of the car, down to the rims and engine.

sleepwalker..just wondering how much u r paying them to do the detailing job?

Sometimes home washes scratches the car more than the professionals out there, unless you are using the high quality microfibres and terry towels. One thing is for sure, it's way too much effort to clean my car the way autospa does. Takes them 90 mins to clean the car and they dry the car 4 times over with 5th layer shine spray. Don't think I'd have the patience or time for that. While they are cleaning, at least I get to spend 90 mins online at Lowyat.net. rclxms.gif

For detailing, it's better to check at Autoworld than FNF, try here, loads of information:
http://www.autoworld.com.my/forum/summary....10511090&page=1

This is another useful link, Meguiar's Detailing 101 (you don't have to use Meguiar's products, just learn the basics):

dude i read the forums but what i found out it most of them are recommending Meguiar's product. Is there any product beside it? It is hard for me to get a Meguiar as it is not easily available from all hypermarket. I search thru Jusco, Giant but it seems like i m running out of luck. Parkson is simply too far from me. For me i just require some information on how to do a proper and simple polish and wax. Thanks for ur guide there dude.

Are you sure you're not an Ewok laugh.gif
Turtle Wax is a brand, they have all kinds of stuff.

Well, whatever products you use, you have to learn the basics, like the 2-bucket method, how to clay, how to wax, how to buff, time to wash, etc. Just Google around for some detailing forums smile.gif

for shampoo, i would recommend Autoglym's Bodywork Shampoo and Conditioner.
Selling at 69+ before discount for 1L pack, but should last a year with weekly wash if follow the usage instruction
