QUOTE(ziniowong @ Nov 26 2018, 10:20 AM) last time naughty nuri also like, must spend minimum rm50 for boost and cc.... after i complained kaw kaw to boost......this happened ![]() if everyone kept quiet, merchant lebih2 QUOTE(john123x @ Nov 26 2018, 11:07 AM) Min RM50 for F&B is really crossing the line. If they aren't sincere in accepting Boost psyment, they shouldn't apply for Boost in the first place QUOTE(xperiaDROID @ Nov 26 2018, 11:09 AM) Same thing applies to card payments, might as well just not accept any payment methods other than cash. Like someone mentioned here, can do your part and complaint to BNM. The same for those that impose 'surcharge' for using CC. Don't keep mum over their hypocrisy..BNM QUOTE Lodging a complaint will facilitate the acquirers to take the necessary action to ensure that retailers cease imposing surcharges on debit and credit card transactions. However, this does not guarantee that the complainant will receive a refund of any surcharge paid to the retailer. Members of the public may use BNM MyLink or by contacting the payment card issuer to lodge a complaint against any retailer that imposes a minimum purchase amount for debit and credit card transactions. Such practice is prohibited under the rules of the international card schemes, such as Visa and Mastercard QUOTE(David83 @ Nov 26 2018, 11:10 AM) BNM needs to jack up their enforcement if they want their cashless roadmap and framework to be successful! Yea, even if enforcement is not up to expectations, at least the public ought to be aware that they can actually make a complaint about it.. If the awareness picks up (especially if viral-ed), hopefully things might improve..This post has been edited by timo1003: Nov 26 2018, 12:16 PM |

QUOTE(Sumofwhich @ Nov 18 2018, 03:20 PM) My Yoodo Boost reward experience is disappointing. Had to manually request via chat for the 1st rm10, need to do the same thing again for the 2nd month and most likely for the 3rd month as well QUOTE(WinterDays @ Nov 18 2018, 03:28 PM) QUOTE(#Victor @ Nov 19 2018, 04:49 PM) Wow to their support speed, reply within minutes after submit ticket. Hopefully not blank promise, let's wait and see. Have u all got ur Yoodo reward for second month already? Another 3 working days passed and yet still no news at all.Hi there, Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience and delay, the reward adjustment is in the process and will be done soon to your Boost account. Highly appreciated your understanding and patience. Thank you Boost Support Team Last promising reply from Pooven: Thank you for the patience. Based on checking, your account is eligible and this seems to be an operational glitch where we will re-run the cashback on our upcoming batch in 3 working days. Thank you Boost Support Team |

Enforcement depends on reporting...QUOTE(xperiaDROID @ Nov 26 2018, 11:13 AM) Doubt BNM is even sincere to make our society go cashless, this issue has been persisting for ages now. If users feel 'unpractical and troublesome' to spend maybe 5-15 minutes making a call or sending an email, then what you expect BNM to do? People prefer to complain on forum thread and at mamak store.Even if you wanna report a merchant, it's unpractical and troublesome, a waste of time. |

QUOTE(timo1003 @ Nov 26 2018, 12:26 PM) O/T: Yep, the bnm stand applies to both practices. Surcharge and minimum purchase. Just creating the awareness. How to deal with minimum purchase amount for using cashless payment where the merchant do not even put up written notice but just in verbal? And it is almost impossible to request them to show their terminal for us to capture the details because they tend to hide it knowing that there are not supposed to impose minimum purchase amount. |

QUOTE(xperiaDROID @ Nov 26 2018, 11:07 AM) https://boostbusiness.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/...Boost-merchant- I see, it is free until 31/12... no wonder can use Boost at many small shops even pasar malam stalls. That's just pathetic lol, but I remember that Boost is strict about merchants imposing a minimal amount for their payment service, looks like someone from Boost taught them a lesson. It's illegal to impose a minimal amount for every payment methods anyways, if they still dare to do that for cards, it means that BNM is not strict enough. I guess many of them will terminate the service if they start charging |

I signed up with Boost over the weekend & went to Mydin this morning to shop BUT the cashier, after 3 attempts, said that the system's down, probably due to Mydin's ongoing warehouse sales!
So much for my very 1st usage... |

Like that also can?after i complained kaw kaw to boost......this happened ![]() if everyone kept quiet, merchant lebih2 Stick a sticker on it then count as problem solved? Sounds like a greedy merchant. So the action is taken by Boost? I think such reporting to BNM for merchant impose min. spending on Cards, does apply on eWallet as well since eWallet license also issues by BNM right? PS. edit grammars, forgot this thread moved out from /k. This post has been edited by NightFelix: Nov 26 2018, 02:38 PM |

You guys should try reporting then you will know how troublesome it is, there are many procedures that need to be done to make a final report. If users feel 'unpractical and troublesome' to spend maybe 5-15 minutes making a call or sending an email, then what you expect BNM to do? People prefer to complain on forum thread and at mamak store. It's not about the time, and it's not as easy as you think like simply making calls or sending emails. The biggest problem is BNM requires an evidence, I get it and it's a must. But here's a scenario example, if you wanna buy something and pay by card, cashier refuses to accept it cuz it's below the minimum amount, and there's no sign whatsoever... What do you expect an average Joe to do? You can't expect to purposely buy more until it reaches the amount just to pay by card and get the evidence right? People will just keep complaining without reporting, because it's really a hassle to do it. QUOTE(kyle_kl @ Nov 26 2018, 12:43 PM) I see, it is free until 31/12... no wonder can use Boost at many small shops even pasar malam stalls.
