Sounds fun.

Boost really kuat. So many promos.

Boost x Catch That Bus - Year End Promo
From 26th November 2018 onwards (until the stated limit is reached),

Purchase your bus tickets via Boost app to enjoy these promo:
a) RM2 Bus ride from KL Sentral to KLIA OR
b) 15% off (up to RM5) ticket price to any destination

Boost x FavePay - Cashback Campaign
In conjunction with the integration between Fave & Boost,

You'll receive RM5 into your Boost wallet when you spend RM15 or more when you use Boost for your FavePay transactions!

Here's how it works:
Key in your total bill amount for payment on the Fave app
Select "Boost" as your preferred payment method
Confirm payment & key in your 6-digit pin
RM5 cashback credited to your Boost wallet the next working day

I signed up with Boost over the weekend & went to Mydin this morning to shop BUT the cashier, after 3 attempts, said that the system's down, probably due to Mydin's ongoing warehouse sales!

So much for my very 1st usage... sad.gif

Twice I encountered at The Chicken Rice shop at Nu Sentral Mall.
Upon payment , then only took out the payment terminal, power on, wait for it (like 5 minutes), login then pay. Luckily there was no customer queuing behind.

eWallet is supposed to make payment faster, but it has became the other way round.

Experience in Tesco was great though, scan it yourself!

At Tesco self checkout machine?
From the payment menu, how many square icons are there?
I saw 3 only.

yes, it was sent by email as I signed up during the weekend.

my 3rd boost attempt at a specs shop in Summit failed too!

the merchant & I walked all the way to the main entrance under the moonlight to get better coverage as his machine uses data too BUT the transaction failed to go thru even after 3 attempts outdoors (& before that, 4 attempts indoors!)!

what a discouraging way to cut my boost teeth!!! vmad.gif

I've messages CS & they asked for further details BUT I doubt if they too can resolve my problems! mad.gif

Should be for all users. TnC states 26/11 but given the number of question marks in it, they may not have finalised it.

Applicable Terms & Conditions:
Campaign period: 26th November 2018 - Campaign end date?
Minimum spend: RM15 in one (1) transaction
Limited to one (1) cashback for one(1) Boost user?
Cashback will be rewarded the next working day
Limited to the first (how many transactions?)

In the beginning, I had problems twice. Nowadays quite smooth. I remember quite clearly it was twice because both times the transaction went though on the merchants, KK, POS, but nothing on my phone. No deduction but also no shake reward.

after 3 failed attempts, I finally got a win! rclxms.gif

purchased on 11 street & it went thru! finally! yahoo for the shaken RM1 too!

methinks that wifi/data strength plays a BIG part for Boost transaction - Boost & other ewallets must ensure that the wireless machinery is able to be wired too!

Wonder why they can't come up with a clearer name instead of EFT...

Not everyone knows what's EFT, even I have no idea what's EFT

Electronic Fintech Transactions?

I see... biggrin.gif

But shouldn't they name the section as "E wallet" or "Mobile payment" instead?

EFT is the 2nd /middle icon at Payment Method page at self checkout counter. The same button you tapped for CC payment too.

Just tried my first experience of Boost/TnG Wallet at Tesco.
It wasn't a smooth and pleasant experience.

Tried on 1st booth. Always Error #97
The staff on duty asked me to switch to another machine.
The 2nd booth. Always re-connecting.
Then he called his supervisor. The supervisor restarted the CIMB POS.
Same problem: Always re-connecting. I asked if it's ready.
She said already got customer tried and successful before.
Then, she asked to go back to the 1st booth to try again but with prompt with Error #97.
Then, she restarted the CIMB POS and finally, the transaction went through.
I suspected could be the POS jammed or what.
