No matter how frustrated we're with certain e-wallet, we can only maximise benefit from using everything and not start boycotting them one by one. No one e-wallet is superior and broad enough to cover all merchants, all promo, etc

Surely 1 and 2 are allowed?
I was doing topup for my husband last week using my credit card, I had no problem. I would think logically it should be allowed.

But transferring out from Boost to an account/joint account not in your name, logically not to be allowed.

u need to know now u can do it doesn't mean later they won't take action
bnm doesn't allow others ppl to use your cc without authorization
p2p is transfer between one Boost to another Boost, not bank transfer

Christie it may not be a blocking issue. Try uninstalling Boost and reinstalling again. I know my son had the problem of not being able to add another card for top up last week. Then he did the uninstaling and reinstalling after that it's good to go!
Try it and tell us the result

I've been trying to re-add my CC (which is relatively new and never used on anything EXCEPT this Boost account) every single day for more than a week already...

I also escalated my case to CS (note, they never ever mentioned that I have unusual activity or breach any terms) and still awaiting their response.

In your experience, best not to try adding ANY CC for a month? If so, I don't mind waiting it out. Boost isn't critical to me, but I love it for 2-3x monthly bank transfers and promos / prudential payments etc, which I can still enjoy using bank top up.

i have been rotating between 4 different cc for the scb game and have no issue on re-adding back the old card

In the first half of 2019 (i.e. Maybank TP era), there was a period where I had cc-reload problem with mine and my husband's account because I used my card (very aggressively) on both our accounts. After that, I applied for a supp card for him, and he has never had problems since then (now no more Maybank TP, he uses BP and a HLB Fortune card). I was also very careful since then to stick to the "own card own account own phone no transfer" rule.

But my recent random "temporary bans" are very mysterious to me. This problem has not affected my husband or anyone in my family.

Now that I am still "banned", I will experiment with not trying to add any card for one month. Will try again in Feb and update!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF MARVELLOUS MOVIE WITH BOOST CAMPAIGN
Campaign Period: From 1 January 2020 until 31 March 2020

Campaign Mechanics
During the Campaign Period, Customers who purchase movie tickets at Golden Screen Cinemas, MBO Cinemas and mmCineplexes via the WeTix in-app feature in Boost app and use Boost as a payment method (“Transaction”) will receive 50% cashback of the Transaction amount (“Cashback”), capped at RM8.
Limited to the first 200 Transactions per day.
Each Customer is entitled to one (1) Cashback per day.

Spend with UP and win.
Not many people are spending with UP. Most of the boost enabled shops also have UP enabled, so i just tried my luck and also won RM300

Wow, I tried opening Boost and noticed I had been logged out. When I tried to log back in, I received an SMS saying "you have recently logged into Boost using a new device" and then had to enter an OTP. I've never had this notification before, as this is my one and only device since I started using Boost. Maybe this is a sign that something is being done to restore my account back to normal function (I hope!!).

Now I'm not sure if I should try adding CC, or just wait a week or more. Decisions decisions....

Above is one of the example of getting soft ban, using his cc on both acc and later try to fix it with using own cc but they come after u even though u try to play safe again…

they won't know till they hack.

I think it asks for OTP because ur account is no longer attached to ur phone. whatever the reason it may be.
