Need advise how to configure HG8145X6 (bridge mode) direct to Asus AX56u..mange to get the HG8145X6 login console to change bridge mode..need some step what should be the step to disable the HG8145X6...my plain is to use the TIME as main WAN anr Unifi as secondary WAN..

Guys, when I login to Time portal I got an offer to either:

1) Renew 24 months contract (free Wifi 5 Mesh device); or
2) Upgrade to 500mbps/1gbps/2gbps

Currently I'm on 100mbps. No issue with speed. There is a bit of a dead spot in the last room though.

Is there any catch to renew a further 24 months, and get the free mesh device? Any hidden fees?

Also, will I get a better offer if I instead wait until my 24 months contract is over? My initial contract period is Aug 2021 - Aug 2023.

Edit: I see T&C mention I can pay RM10 more to get 300mbps with free mesh device. But in the "upgrade" webpage, I can't see this option.

Nope, you just carry on to use, if termination, need to provide 30 days notice.

i have HG8145X6 and i plan to get another 2nd hand unit from carousell.

how do i setup the 2nd unit to mesh with the first original unit?

if wan to terminate time internet,need to return anything to them ? its aready over 48 month liao

X6 better than the mesh from time ? How much u found for the X6 ?

There are 2 models which can act as Mesh, Huawei HG8145X6 (WiFi6) & WA8021V5 (WiFi5)...the latter is not a full mesh node & performance is not promising. Many customers reported peer & node-node connections drops or even extremely slow speed.
So far X6 is still fairly OK, anyway performance wise is still incomparable to those higher-end units from Asus or even TP-Link Decos.

Guys, I am using porting from Unifi to TIME 100 Mbps package.

Quick question, I am using own router RT-AX56U for Unifi (1 Unifi Modem & my own RT-AX56U router)

Now the TIME installer say it is a 2 in 1 unit that they will give me and will not help me to set up my RT-AX56U to link.

How or what should I do from here?

Call TIME, tell them you want to use your own router and ask them to switch the modem + router combo to bridge mode. They can do this remotely.

Once that is done, connect a LAN cable from the LAN port of the modem to the WAN port of your own router.

Lastly, reset your own router and do a fresh config. Just PPPoE username and password is needed. No VLAN / IPTV / special ISP config required.

As for the PPPoE details, you can get them from the selfcare portal.
