Hey guys, I live in a condo with 1000 sqft. I am planning to get the 500 mbps speed from Time by this year.

I have a few questions to ask:

1) Does it block torrent downloading?
2) The hardware provided by TIME is it good enough? Do I need to get a better router or modem? I want a strong one since my bedroom couldnt get good connectivity currently from unifi using default hardwares.

Thanks

Thanks for the interest on TIME FIBRE.

1. It doesn't block torrent downloading.
2. You may try the stock router first.
If you are not satisfied, you may get a new better router.

Thanks

Any router to recommend because I dont know how to set up. I thought of buying the router first then ask the TIME vendor to set up for me using new router

Guys, I am using porting from Unifi to TIME 100 Mbps package.

Quick question, I am using own router RT-AX56U for Unifi (1 Unifi Modem & my own RT-AX56U router)

Now the TIME installer say it is a 2 in 1 unit that they will give me and will not help me to set up my RT-AX56U to link.

How or what should I do from here?

Call TIME, tell them you want to use your own router and ask them to switch the modem + router combo to bridge mode. They can do this remotely.

Once that is done, connect a LAN cable from the LAN port of the modem to the WAN port of your own router.

Lastly, reset your own router and do a fresh config. Just PPPoE username and password is needed. No VLAN / IPTV / special ISP config required.

As for the PPPoE details, you can get them from the selfcare portal.
