QUOTE(Macnair @ Oct 8 2018, 07:43 PM) Hmm 119rm for 500mbps with no contract or remaining contract vs 99rm 100mbps with 24 months renewal and you choose the later. No renew means no new router means cannot support new speed. Currently using dlink trashcan...That's 20rm diff with 400mpbs bump with no renewal. |

So, with my recent upgrade to 500Mbps, will the TP-Link Archer C7 be an adequate upgrade, or should I opt for something better like the Archer C3150?
Just want something that will do the job well for a small condo (not a landed property), and not overkill. A budget of around RM700, I think. |

Hello,
I guess most of you/us have been bumped up to 500mbps, I was wondering if my current router and modem is adequate to run the advertised 500mbps speed. The current router I have is the capsule looking type one haha! I forgot the brand Update: I guess the brand and model is a Dlink Cloud Router 1200 This post has been edited by drunkonpiss: Oct 8 2018, 08:16 PM |

Archer C7 won't be able to fulfill your needs.Just want something that will do the job well for a small condo (not a landed property), and not overkill. A budget of around RM700, I think. You should get at least AC2300. Or you can order the DIR-882 from TIME. Thanks |

Honestly, even if it doesn't run exactly 500mbps, at least I get half of what was advertised with a stable connection, I'm already a happy camper Atleast that's what I did |
