Place the 2nd HG8145B7N near to the main HG8145B7N ONT, make sure WLAN is ON, press & hold the WLAN/WPS button until the WPS light is blinking, monitor the 2nd HG8145B7N WPS light, it should start blink in a while...
When the WPS light on the main HG8145B7N ONT is Off, means the 2nd HG8145B7N is successfully paired.

the given mesh wifi router is just a trash..

if u really want to buy one more unit to create the mesh, i would strongly discourage u to do so, unless u are doing wired backhaul and NOT wireless backbhaul.

Using dual-band mesh for wireless backhaul is the worst experience u can get.

first Press & hold WPS - this is the main unit or the second unit? Dont you have to press the other unit's WPS button as well?
Sorry just to confirm. Thanks

The Main Unit.
Huawei's Smartlink protocol no need to press WPS on 2nd mesh node.

So far I use the mesh just for devices that doesn't require full bandwidth such as SIP phone (LAN) and IP camera (LAN as well). As long as got minimum 50 Mbps should be sufficient.

For termination, we have to provide 30 days notice, there's no way to get around this? If I submit the cancellation request today, the earliest I can cancel would 30 days later?

Yes, during registration process, it's advised about this.
You can try your luck with the CS or another method highlighted in this thread not long ago brows.gif

Yeah I saw that and the same information was being told to me as well from another provider. If it doesn't work, I guess I'll just have to cancel the termination and find an interested party to transfer and relocate the service.

Terminate a service with a provider just like giving notice when you want to resign from your current job

Anybody have problem with IPTV TV? Start 1 hour ago (PJ location).

Checked same (proven) TiviMate links on PC... same.
Restarted router and modem, speed is OK (1GB), problem persist.

Edit:
Finally...back to normal......

Guys, need your guidance on this.

Currently on 600mbps on TIME/Huawei Stock Modem/Router and using TP-Link Deco M5 A1300.

Currently facing a frustated issue.

At night after 7.xxpm (for 2 days now), the download speed (tested using Speedtest) using PC or laptop dropped to around 10 to 20mbps; with acceptable upload speed.

However, speed test using shown normal download speed.

This has never happened before. Any kind souls have any idea ?

PS: the condo i'm staying only has TIME as the sole ISP

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any brands/models to recommend if i want to upgrade my devices.

Thanks in advance!!!

Using cable here. Same issue, but I just download during non-peak hours.

Hope this helps
