Unifi seems to have a lot of complaints on bad routing on certain IP ranges.
TIME still won’t fix the routing to China.
CelcomDigi under Celcom seems to have horrible CGNAT, while Digi seems to be fine.

Best price to performance imo is probably Maxis under their own Infra. or Time if China sites are not needed. Allo seems to be somewhat decent as well.
*
Did not notice Unifi have this issue, plan to get it already.
Another choice Maxis NGBB 300/50Mbps 24months contract rm99

Yup, now have 3 years contract already .
I feel that routing > Speed
*
no you are wrong UNIFI have 2 Year contract
3 year contract = free TV OR FREE IPAD get unifi will be 3 year contract
without FREE TV OR IPAD get unifi will be 2 year contract

Nope, depends on your building and agent.
The offer I get is RM89 100Mbps free 3 months with 24 months contract or free 6 months with 36 months contract .
300Mbps free 6 months with 24 months contract

no
i already know 100MBPS RM89 free 6month with 24 months contract 100%
if RM89 100Mbps free 6 months with 36 months contract = free TV OR FREE IPAD

most tm point 2 year contract and 3 year contract = free ipad or free tv like that

agent are cheat tricky say 3 year contract you get free ipad or free tv

They said it’s not their problem. But iirc Maxis uses the same upstream provider but they do not have the problem. So I’m guessing they’re not paying enough for the bandwidth they need. With even more customers now, they really need to fix it.

Luckily, I only use taobao which works fine. But other sites can be horrible. When I VPN back to MY from China, it was unusable, except for China Unicom.
*
How to pay for more bandwidth when their profit margin is at risk ? Considering the pressures from government to keep the price of residential broadband low ? Currently, setting up intelligent routing for China sites to use HK / Taiwan VPN temporally solve the issue.

I believe complain through the default channel wouldn't get you anywhere, where they will just give you the standard reply. (Same for all ISP) . I even got response asking me to
"use alternative sites instead of China sites:, "You can opt for dedicated internet connection" and etc

If you face lagging issue trying to watch videos / dramas from those streaming sites, it will be very difficult because technically it is not legit anyway. Unless you are facing lagging issues with legit business related applications (not pirated), then it is very difficult to make a big fuss to pressure MCMC to intervene.

should be the HG8145X6-10 ONT+Router combo unit.
If you have a SOHO box, a separate ONT will be given.

General recommendation is, buy your own router and contact time support to set the combo unit to bridge mode.
Then plug LAN1 into ur own router WAN. Set up PPPoE, VLAN not needed. PPPoE credentials can be obtained from Self Care site or time app

Yes, I received the exact HG8145X6-10 combo unit - just wondering is there recommendation router for Time internet?
Thanks in advance.

Directly test speed to Internet from router and these are the results.

This is the reason why my device also cannot get full speed nowadays.

Hi! I couldn't figure out something. Help appreciated 😄
How to schedule reboot time on Time router HG8145B7N?

In my previous router WiFi6 it was possible in the Maintenance settings.

Already on landed time since 2023. Service uptime no difference compared to TM but ur area might be different. 0 downtime since I installed. Latency is good. From Penang, 6ms to KL, 12ms to SG. Unfortunately, bad connection to China sites.

12 months contract extension for rm10 off or 24 months extension for rm15 off. that’s what I was getting from the CS and also selfcare portal

but I switch to another ISP instead. If your area got allo infra, can opt for CD fibre instead if want a cheaper price

It depends on the types of infra, if yours is routed via drains, very high frequency of downtime.
Try your luck.

It will be the last resort if you really cant stand with reasonable speed drop by using mesh system.
Or can't bear with the ordinary 2.5mm width white color drop cable...or any UTP cable.
This method has limitation on type of equipment you can use....
If your unit is under renovation, then this is definitely Not the option you should go for, instead you can opt for UTP cable, conventional Fiber Cable or even hybrid cable.
