U Mobile is good. They offer attractive packages at affordable prices. Most of the places where I frequent are covered with 4G.

However, I am porting out this month. The main reason is that U Mobile not offering high-speed monthly prepaid plan. I don't stream a lot when I am using cellular data, so I'd rather a high-speed plan with quota than a speed-crippled plan.

So long, U Mobile. I will be keeping an eye on the website and may return once you have a better offer.

I don't think UMI is available to "Prepaid 5G-Ready Plan" subscribers.

Got my hands on the simpack. Hope the GX43 is better than U40 as the GX simpack cost me quite a bit.

At that speed GX43 is actually better, FUP is also relaxed (as long as you have common sense)

Afaik, the FUP for all GX plans is 100GB per month.

So far, I have not been throttled to 64kbps because I stay below 100GB every month since 2019 on the GX50 plan, eg by video-streaming at 360p or 480p as much as possible. I usually use about 50GB to 80GB of data per month.

OTOH, U Mobile may have relaxed this 100GB FUP recently. Anyone has tested the 100GB FUP recently.?

I can't comment (yet) on the GX 100GB quota buat i can assure you that they do enforce the U40 100GB quota.

Does anyone here use U38? How's the speed? Is it capped/throttled/etc in any way?

Postpaid U38?
I've seen up to nearly a Gigabit in KL area doing Speedtest

I changed from GX50 to it for more speed since I wasn't using too much data anyways

Yes, the postpaid U38. Just wanted to confirm that there's no speed cap, etc on this plan like some of the other ones. Is U38 worth it and fast for the entire 60gb usage regardless of time/day? Thanks
