limited coverage not zero coverage.

just use big 2 celcomdigi bhd and maxis

Well, I'm on the grandfathered Digi unlimited i150, but if this plan is better and has coverage where I am (especially balik kampung) I don't mind really switching over. But we will see.

Hello, any umobile users went to the USA recently?

I understand on the website it shows no voice roaming available? Because umobile use AT&T and they don’t have 3G and 2G anymore, and umobile don’t have volte roaming like the other telcos yet

But I know AT&T also implemented spoofing of circuit switch on their volte network for foreign roaming sim to use

Wondering if umobile can work there or not after they enabled this last year

how is Umobile 4G compared to Digi 4G?

afaik, Digi not yet merged their 4G infra with Celcom?

I am thinking to port from Digi to Umobile 38

60GB very tempting, as DNB keep expanding their 5G towers, so all carriers that lease from them should perform the same

b.  You can use U Postpaid 38, 68, 98 and U FamilyShare line(s) via smartphones only and no other devices, such as a MiFi and USB dongle. We may from time to time change the device requirements for U Postpaid 38, U Postpaid 68 and U Postpaid 98 plans at our absolute discretion.

So, it is very likely against the T&C to use a 4G/5G modem with the SIM card, either for main data or Ultra 5G Hotspot data. If U-Mobile allows it, it will mothball it's Broadband plans with 4G/5G modems, Mifi, USB dongles, etc. U-Mobile can detect "illegal" 4G/5G modem usage for it's Mobile Postpaid and Prepaid plans with specialized software = the account can be deactivated temporarily for a day or 2 as a warning b4 complete shutdown, esp very active accounts with massive downloading or video-streaming.

The u mobile ultra hotspot 5G is only applicable when we have 5G signal and do hotspot from our h/p ?

If my area has only 4G+, can I enjoy the hotspot of 1000GB or not ?

streaming for umobile is on 4g lte. won't get 5g. think this plan is total 65g of data. They give additional 5g for hotspot. not sure why thye want to do that? lol.

Just like the GX38, this time it comes with Unlimited Hotspot RM5. No need to add-on RM5.

Complained to SKMM before.
Telco respond was fast but same generic respond.
At the moment we don’t have plan to upgrade coverage at your location we will forward this to strategic planning team for future upgrade.

Hi guys,

Hoping to hear some feedback from U Mobile users around the Bandar Sunway area if possible. My niece is moving to Sunway next week
to start her 2 year ADTP program at Taylors. She will be staying at Sunway GeoSense / Sunway Geo Avenue Mall until she transfers to US
by the summer / July 2025.

We are looking at getting her a Postpaid Line and obviously U Mobile's Postpaid 68 plan looks like a good value for money. However, I am
just wondering about the general network quality (4G LTE only) around the Sunway area? I am on Maxis (personal) and Digi (work) so we
are looking to hear from some existing U Mobile users instead. She is moving from Manila back to KL so she has not had a Malaysian telco
plan for many years now.

Appreciate your thoughts and feedback very much - thanks!

Cheers,
V.
